How dumb are these guys anyway? The T1000 in Terminator 2 was far better than the Arn in T-1. And Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein would doubtless find it amusing that they were regarded more as movie heroes.
Of course, that has as much to do with the movie itself. The Terminator was just darker and moodier than T-2. The T-1 fit Arnie perfectly, if he had been a better actor, I don't think he would have been as believeable as a cyborg.
