Washington Warmongering Undermining Iranian Reform

The US can actually do a lot pretty much in the open. We did it successfully in Serbia just a couple of years ago.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Well that is marginally better than having thousand of nukes pointing at every piece of land in the world. You are so messed up Sava.

It's a simple question of psychology and security Fez.
Soviets -- paranoid... good security
Modern Russia -- corrupt, poor security
Soviets -- don't want to die
Islamic terrorists -- want to blow themselves up to kill Americans
Reagan was one of the worst presidents of all time... maybe next to Dubya. It's very silly if you think about it.
Reagan wanted to beat the Soviets, so he created a bigger problem by supporting the terrorists we're dealing with today. He supported Saddam in an attempt to beat the other terrorists in Iran... failed... and we end up with more problems. Bush Sr. attempts to clean up the Saddam mess, but creates even more problems by leaving him in power and giving Osama more of a motive to recruit terrorists by keeping troops in Saudi Arabia. Now... Bush Jr. removed Saddam... but now there's a big problem in Iraq. He beat the Taliban, but then the terrorists just scattered. Not only are things just as bad in Afghanistan, but the terrorists are still attacking.
And all the while this crap is going on... arms companies and companies like Halliburton are defrauding the government, making money on this belligerent, immoral foreign policy.
I may be messed up, but not have as messed up as the world is thanks to evil leaders.Last edited by Sava; May 28, 2003, 12:54.To us, it is the BEAST.

Prove what? When talking about politics like this, there are little facts to go on. The only people who know for sure are those directly involved. I look at the real world situation, and form opinions based upon the information available. But instead of disputing my points you lay some chickensh1t blanket denial. I doubt you even read the post... you just type "You rants are meaningless and factless" without even knowing what I said.
To us, it is the BEAST.

You NEVER look at the situation nor do you form opinions on any credible information. You are the chickensh*t here. Not me. You are one of the biggest complainers I have seen here. For once in life get over yourself. The world does not revolve around you and you self proclaimed "special" opinion. And once accept the gawd damn fact that people will disagree with you, you self righteous stuck up person. For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night.
