plus that was an anonymous conceiled threat call. the story was not against an indivindual but "against" a company and its wanting to say the least performances

that guy actually wanted me to keep off what the CEO himself of that company said. then when i provided sources he said I had done an errour in reporting when i cited word for word the passage he just said he'd sue me

of course that never happened and the company got another nice full blown exposure on the weekend paper who gets 3 times more readers by yours truely. next question?

Not at all. I'm the same Sava. Bush? Why would I like Bush? He's giving out record amounts of corporate welfare, pork, subsidies, and such. He even placed tariffs on foreign steel. At this point, and as an American, I want to improve things in America. I'll worry about the rest of the world after we've fixed our own problems.
To us, it is the BEAST.

at least they had the wisdom to just let me know they were there and reading and not try to intimidate me. plus during our conversation I got a (minor) exclusive

Strangely, the US speaks from both sides of its mouth with its "Super 302" that allows it to slap punitive tariffs against the so called "dumpings" by foreign countries.

What paiktus22 and others are saying here is that they want to pay taxes to the US govt when they buy US goods and services. What they might want to do is fix their own tax policies so that they don't have to pay taxes when they make purchases for domestically produced goods.

The Poles will have subsidies then. I'm almost sure they'll put all their haggling resources for this. Besides, these subsidies are needed by the EU if it wants to be popular in Poland.
