thats not that bad, especially if you're using winamp2.

not so much an ability, but a series of expierences:

i sometimes startle awake, ie, i go from dead sleep to full alertness. i am extremely cold (shivering) but sweating beyond belief. i am completely immobile, i cannot open my eyes, i cannot move any of my limbs, i cannot open my mouth or talk or anything. I often hear backround noise, whisperlike. one time, i believe i heard "can you hear us? we can hear you." after what seems like forever, lying there immobile shivering in my own sweat, i regain control of my body and jump up and scream.

i have researched it and actually talked to doctors / psychologists about it, and apparently the human body is rendered completely immobile during the deepest parts of REM sleep. if your body is starteled to wake during this period, you will remain completely paralyzed, even while awake. i can attribute the voices to constructvie perception, where the brain is supplied with very little info and makes "sense" out of it. whatever. freaky sh1t.

I'm about to go to sleep, thanks for freakin' me out dude. I used to get that when I was younger, but my mind did not produce hallucinations to combat the sensory deprivation. I'm gonna have a lot of trouble fallin' asleep tonight.

Btw, are you able to breathe? When this used to happen to me, I was not.

even if they are ugly, usually some sort of unifrom on a chick is a ++.

I can hear whether TV is turned on or not miles away! (well not miles, but I can tell wether my upstairs guy is watching tv... and this isnt because I hear TV sounds. )

For example, I can tell right now that guy in the room next to me is watching tv right now. and Im not hearing sounds from tv.

                      - I get quick, small glimpses of future events when I day dream. They almost always come true.

                      - I can tell by the tone of someone's voice whether they have something they want to share, but don't know how to bring it up in conversation.

                      - My brain can detect radio waves, because I always know what's on the radio at any given time, even when the radio isn't on first.

I am just the opposite. People come to me about errors on their computers, and when I get there they couldn't replicate them. After I leave, they start to have them again.

If I didn't work in tech support it'd be a complete riot.

Streetlights go out when I walk or drive by. This happens frequently. I can walk down a street and the lights will go out as I approach, then come back on when I'm past them.

In my case it sometimes actually goes like this: People tell me about problems with their computers, so I get there, look in the general direction of the box, and... whatever the problem was, it gets fixed. With no intervention from me or the user. And it doesn't return.

Well, actually this has happened only once, but hey, anecdotal evidence has been used for proving more important things, too .
