How is that so? I slamed your argument several pages ago. What I would be worrying about is rising unemployment (and possibly deflation) in your country with such a strong EURO.

Let Dr. Spike come in here and talk about it if he understands the basic concepts of international economics, but since you don't listen to those who do.

      • I guess I will let the children play and stick to the threads with Sten and Spike and Roland and DanS and such.

It's not our job to school you. You made a positive assertion that you could not explain. What you did have to say was at the level of a regional newspaper. Go play, BA.

THERE IS NO MATH. Say it slowly to yourself a few times and let it sink in.

There is no math in economics?

That is like saying that you can fly an airplane without taking any lessons...

What I said you couldn't understand. So when you can read a newspaper come back and we can discuss it.

There are lots of books on economics with no math in them. Why don't you start with the Wealth of Nations? That'll be a good start for you.

Bull****. In order to prove economic assertions, math is mandatory. That is why PHD programs in economics have a ****load of econometrics involved.

What I said you couldn't understand.

Perhaps because you offered no support or evidence? But that is par for the course for you, right?

                        • When are you going to read that principles of econ book I told you to buy Imran?

First you have to be familiar with the principles. Then you can worry about proving them.

                          • When you do and actually understand it.

It's funny that the econ people in this forum (DanS among them) believe your views to be bull****. That oughta tell you something. Why don't you read the econ threads and try to sell some of your loony-tune assertions, backed with no proof in there. I'd love to see you get your ass kicked by professors of economics .

Just the simple fact that you are asking me to prove principles in economics shows how ignorant you are about the subject. You don't prove principles. You just go read the textbook. Why don't you try it?

                              • If you can't prove principles at some level (which, actually they have been) they really aren't worth having.

And obviously you didn't read a single textbook while getting your BA.
