That's true, but it also reduces the foreign investment that come into your country. The US gets more foreign invesment because foreign investment is the natural place for the dollars that leave the US.

It's impossible for the US to become a net exporter, bring in net foreign investment and maintain its status as banker to the world at the same time, because the number of dollars held outside the US would have to shrink. In order for the Euro to become the key currency the EU would have to transform itself into an economy which attracts foreign investment instead of making foreign investment. It would have to become a net importer so that the other nations could use the Euro as key currency.I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Do you like beer Senator?
