There's a lot of bad british sitcoms, but there's even more bad american sitcoms. Futher, the top quality british programs tends to be a little bit better on average.Comment

British humour, when well done, always crack me up
Good American humour is solid, but is often too obvious or dependant on the same mechanics. I enjoyed Seinfeld or Friends very much, but it doesn't even come close to Monty Python's or Blackadder, which turn me into a hysterical state
