Hehe, I was confused too, before I saw the MedMod. Do alot of people play this? I must admit to never having tried a ctp mod, is this the best one?

if you ask the ASs to attack someone they are at war with anyway, your relation to them will improve.
it might drop down later on when they realize you dont attack the third party yourself, but for the moment they pretty much fall in love with you.
but beware that the third party civ is actually one who does not like you else you might lose a good friend.
btw, AS = Artificial Stupidity
i dont think they deserve another desription sometimes.Baal: "You dare mock me ?"

Its the only one I have tried
But according to everything I have read, it combines several mods into one. So you could call it the most compresive. I certianly adds in places where Activision missed. Try it out.
So one guy turns to another guy and says "T.A.I." His friends says "What?" He responds by saing "Think about it;)"

Just make a copy of your existing one under another name. Then, to switch between the two installations you just rename the folders so that the one you want has the right name. You can easily make a batch file to do the renaming for you.
i make a copy, just of my playctp.ext and rename the copy.
then i put it in another folder with another name.
right ?
so what do i put into the new folder ? just that .exe file or all the folder hierarchy with all other files as well ?
you mentioned a batch file doing the renaming. so do i have to rename each time i want to use the other one ?
i dont completely understand.
i thought no matter what i do to the game, the exe file would remain the same and just all the other file stuff would be changed, so i would need two totally independent installations....Baal: "You dare mock me ?"

I mean copy the whole folder structure, from the base folder which by default is called something like Civilization - Call to Power.
As to the renaming: You can probably still run the other copy to a certain extent. IIRC I did this when I had multiple installs, but since the registry entries won't be pointing at the duplicate it won't be associated with save games, and patches etc. will not find it properly.

I had once enemy space fighers above a city and despite that I managed to launch a space fighter in space. I can't remember the exact conditions, it was long time ago.
If the aforementioned is done right, even ten major trade, production, wonder, science and or armed cities going down can cause a 10 or more turn delay. That factored in be it ahead or behind, you have an edge or the equalizer.“The Communist Manifesto was correct…but…we see the privileges of the capitalist bourgeoisie yielding…to democratic organizations…In my judgment…success lies in a steady [peaceful] advance…[rather]…than in…a catastrophic crash."Eduard Bernstein
