      • Good work, Guillaume70. However, I think you meant to post in the ctp2 forum, if I'm not mistaken... I would hate to see all your effort wasted.

        • Does that mean those stats don't apply to CtP?

          • Yes, I'm afraid so.

            • Many of them are close to what CTP has. You can check out the raw data that this is based upon in the attached file.

no no, it is not for CTP2. it is for CTP.

                • I recon most of the values - and those are for CTP. There might be a little diff somewhere, I havn't checked it - but remember, that WesW did make 2 different setup for the MedMod 4.13. One for small/normal maps and one for gigantic maps. They are very-very different for the number of cities allowed.

If you have installed the MedPack4, you should find the govern.txt file for the gigantic maps in a subfolder to the subfolder for the scenario (scen0002).

                  • Ok, maybe I'm am totally incorrect, but the one thing that strikes me as wrong is the max cities before unhappiness; the other stats will take some time to research, time which I don't currently have. Like I said, I could be off my rocker, but I think that democracy, fascism and communism should all be 60.

                    • whatever mod you are talking about, shouldnt there be a govern.txt file that gives these values easily ?

                      • Yes.

Either you have the default values or you have the values of the scenario.

NB: OBS: (Both says LOOK HERE!!!):

Some files shouldn't anyone play with. Fx the wonder.txt file.

If you "grant" a wondervalue - say WONDER_FLAG_GLOBAL_RADAR
from the wonder GlobeSat to the wonder Stonehenge in your OWN wonder.txt file, then you actually can see the whole damned map and no of your competitors would ever knew about it.

Of course thís "feature" would go obsolute with Stonehenge.....

But..... remember to be honest to yourself (and partly to your enemy if you can't avoid it).

Edit: Of couse.... you have to own the Stonehenge wonder to see all. But you could add any "advantage" you wanted to any wonder you own yourself to get something out of it for your nation.

The penalty is, that you know, that you have been cheating............

you cannot change the fact that you know something, david. would you want to change it ?
i guess this is quite a philosophical question that ive often asked myself. anyway, i guess you dont want other people to know it because you fear they will not be as honest as you, right ?

                            @birdman
i thought the text file modifications you make would only apply to the next player(s) in the game, not to yourself ... ?

                            • No biggy david42one this has been known for a long time now by most if not all of the old timmers here.

By that I am sure you know you are in good company with this knowledge. Experiment with it so you get familiar with the graphs and game details while using this. It is a good learning tool and the more familiar with it you are, the easier it is to spot when used.
