The problem with the blue-red shield on the flag is that the background will be blue. That would leave a red half shield with the gold bars.

For an anvil, would this help?


If we want to stick with the crest, we should do a half blue, half red field with the bars and perhaps the sword.

If getting fancy, an anvil in black and the sword over it.

One would only have to border the shield in something to get rid of the problem of the blue, right? What about a Silver or Gold trim?

That rocks. Krill's right that it needs a brighter trim (gold or silver works) to distinguish it from the background blue of our civ color.

p.s. I guess I just never bothered looking for patterns in the custom continents script. Ok. Regular continents, previewed to make sure there are no isolated civs?

I do like the shield better, but this one has the anvil There's room for improvement, but I'm exhausted.

I think the shield with the border would look ok on the background, plus I think the red and the bars could be a bit brighter.

You pick guys if you like any of these...improvements could be done by anyone (me over the weekend is possible too)

I'm gonna ask Snoopy to see what the square with the anvil looks like, if that's OK with everyone.

The shield and sword look great. The problem is it is not the right proportions, and what colour behind the shield?

Do we have a concensus? Regular continents (not custom), previewed... ask that the previewers make sure no one starts alone??

Regular Continents, previewed, allow 1 civ continents/islands...would be my vote...
