Well, I think we should send it before Impeio write a reply. This is a pretty good offer for imperio, they get 2 techs out of it and will be more willing to make it. Also it looks towards the future, battling PAL.

I think we should send it in a couple of hours unless there are major objections.

I like the approach. What exactly are our Agreements between us about Templars ? With this kind of trilateral deal and the prospect for Imperio to grab PAL's north, we should not bow to raze and replace Jerusalem.

We should also limit our NAP to Imperio to be not a game long one.
After all, we might feel to backstab them later.

Yes, we did not even talk about the length of a NAP. I will leave it to them to suggest one. Maybe that "agreements between us and templars" part should just be cut alltogether.

Yes, I would cut it for now.
Do we want to mention their roading worker? I think not. After all we can let their stack coming and destroy them. That should strengthen our position.

Send it without the Templars remark now, I vote.

Good call Soooo and M_H. After all, even if we made the Imperio city-split deal we'd still have the capture the closest Templar city. This allows us to do that and still keep on marching until we make a deal.

Well we did previously send this:

                Dear Imperio,

We have discussed and agree to raze and resettle Jerusalem in return for you signing peace with us on T151 and agreeing a NAP. You must declare on Templars by the end of T153.

There is no need to mention to PAL any of our discussions.

                Do you agree?

                Team RB.
Even though they didn't accept on that turn, they will have an expectation that we have agreed to raze Jerusalem and not continue further....

That was part of a deal that involved them signing peace on T151 and declaring war on T153 and was not accepted by Imperio. We'll see what they say in their reply.

True, but good luck convincing them of that....

IMO we should not make any in-game offers until we receive their email. We've sent a few without reply and should wait to get something in writing.

If someone spots Imperio logging in, please chase after them and remind them we are anxiously waiting for their email reply.

Should we quickly send Imperio a message saying we are expecting their reply before the end of our turn. (we need to know whether or not to kill their Worker)

                          e.g.

                          Imperio,

We have been anxiously awaiting your reply for several turns now, if we do not hear from you by the end of our phase of this turn, any proposed peace conditions will require renegotiation.

                            Why the ultimatum?
as far as we are concerned, negotiations have to be re-started.
Don't give them any funny ideas, about holding us to that raze-Jerusalem offer we made a couple of turns back. That is off the table.

Well the ultimatum is really so we know whether or not to kill their Worker outside Cape Town ... though we don't want them to know that, of course.

The mention of renegotiation was really to give them incentive to get off the fence.

I understand, but I don't want them to get off the fence, if that implies to them that we stick to razing Jerusalem (which was not agreed in time between RB and Imp and is therefore off the table until put on the table in new negotiations).
