I'd like to get dsplaisted & MyOtherCar's offers for a chat in Spanish to Imperio:

We are happy that you are talking to us but we think our communication suffers because of the language difference. A couple of our newer team members speak some Spanish and we think it would be helpful for you to have a live chat with him in Spanish to help us understand your concerns better. Spoke with Imperio in game, yet another player.

Important points: they will be sending us a new peace offer this turn, and if we accept peace they would like to trade Nationalism for Gunpowder.

Here is the transcript, as usual read from the bottom up.

What's missing is "Hi Imperio" and exchanging pleasantries, me asking who he is and him responding, and him telling me they will be sending us an email this turn.

Hmmmm, obviously we'd like gunpowder straight away but we have an existing deal with Banana. Also Gunpowder is only 2/3 beakers of Nationalism, but I'm sure Imperio has something to make up the difference.

OK, how about this:

Dear Imperio and Banana:

We talked with Imperio in-game and Imperio suggested to trade nationalism for gunpowder and agree peace. We like this but we have a deal with banana for gunpowder. We suggest:

RB and Imperio trades Nationalism for Gunpowder + 200 gold
Imperio and banana trades Gunpowder for Banking

RB and Imperio sign a peace deal and a NAP. Agreements between us about Templars are still in place.

Now we all have what we want

Later we can discuss how to kill PAL

Imperio is a group of Catalan players? Interesting, I had no idea.

On topic, let's make sure that we get peace with Imperio first (and them at war with Templars) before we start sending them 3-way tech trading messages. I love the draft prepared by sooooo though, and if we can swing that kind of deal, and get everyone concerned to close borders with PAL, then we'd really be in business.

EDIT: Just saw in the Banana thread that they are already talking to Imperio about this possibility. Maybe go ahead and send sooooo's three way proposal after all?
