Had a good, long chat in-game with Donovan. I'll post the details later, but the Astro-MT trade went through which is good news for him (but it means we need to watch out for Frigates from Imperio).

He brought up the boating plan, so I said we have a plan and would email him about it.

PAL's SoD consists of around 15 Maces, and he's saving cash atm so it would be good to get those ponies at Constantinople connected.

Unless the Mutal strikes crashes and burns, the can't do Frigates as they need iron, but can do Privateers. But since we have neither Astro or Chem yet we really can't do much but hope they don't build any...I guess it depends on Naldo's mindset, and whether he thinks he can hurt us more by putting out troops to make us bleed or ships for pillage/blockade.

Well, there's a silver lining, assuming Split has popped borders twice - PAL will need to take both Pudding and Split to get cultural control of that iron. Can the next person to chat with Banana ask about those details?

Trying to defend three diffferent spots is a sure recipe for disaster... I'll see if sunrise and I can put our heads together and come up with a better tactical plan for Donovan. If The Warning only has two units in it, razing that spot with galleons should become priority #1 for Banana, and they need to do it NOW, while PAL is still researching Astronomy.

I'm not convinced PAL will go for Banana's iron source right away either. They can split multiple cities by moving their stacks into the south first. Unfortunately, I can see at least two different places where PAL can strike with great force, so there's no one easy solution to this problem.

Yes, I was wondering about this as well. With opticas they have +2 visibility across water. So they will see the staging tile 1E of Acre.

In the end is doe not matter. If The Warning gets fortified, thats good. Less troops on the front line.
There also the chance to attack Heliopolis. If that is also out due to heavy garrison, there is Calakmul, Mayapan and Uxmal.
