Hello Realms,

A Galleon has set sail for Acre and is in place to strike the Warning next turn. I have loaded it with 1 Mace and 2 ChoKuNu (one with Shock promo), which will definitely neutralize the current Spearman. If PAL adds any nearby units to their capital, I may have to delay the attack or abort entirely depending on the circumstances - we can discuss at the beginning of the next turn.

I had a chance to look at the .jpg sent by your generals and I am am happy to report that my tactics nearly comply with what you have outlined. First of all, you were correct in guessing the location of Thebes as we were finally able to locate it via Galleon (I know that Sullla claimed it wasn't a good idea to go searching for it, but I now have visibility for all cities -- next turn I should actually be able to open the city screens for all but 2 PAL cities. Also, I believe that the Mace stack is located just SE of Thebes and is primed for an advance on Banana Split, so I wanted intel on that land.) Speaking of Banana Split, I have 7 defenders there (8 next turn), with 6 units staged south of town on the exact tile you selected on your diagram. I did not want to remove too many defenders from Split for fear of a Cuirassier rush.

Aside from the galleon debacle, lots of general chat with Donovan including a possible PAL illegal move (caravel so he'll let it slight as he wasn't 100% sure), and he's started to gift techs to Rabbits, so we may as well star to do the same. Also got his map for a look at the beast that is Thebes.

Caught Banana in game and logged in quickly to make sure the Acre trade went through. I noticed his galleon was gone and thought "oh no, he's mismoved again." Instead it turns out he BOATED THE WARNING and razed the city! He says the attack cost him 1 mace and then a crossbow took the city. A single spear was the only defender.

What? This worked? AWESOME! Man, this is...unbelievable! Incredible, never thought PAL would let this happen. Kudos to Sulla for that plan, and to Donovan for following it through!
