  • You stated that GS had no idea GoW was going to attack Roleplay. That the NAP was a trick by GoW for us to attack Roleplay behind your back.

I can pull up chat after chat where GS members discussed plans for an attack with GoW on Roleplay which is the direct opposite of your claims.

Quit making false statements that can be proven as such and I will leave you alone.

It was my hope that there would be enough GS members left with just a smidgen of honor that they would take that statement to heart and force Shiber to edit the untruth out of his posts.

    • I wasn't aware that we've made any plans with GoW to attack RP. Perhaps you're overplaying some things we've said.
From your comment, I also think that you got my point all wrong. I can't spare the time to explain right now since I'm going out in a few minutes, but I'll explain later.

First they made us promise to sign a NAP in a chat. Then they told us about their plans to attack RP with the help of ND.
Later, in a joint GS-GoW-ND chat, we were told that any GS presence on Bob is unwelcome and that we can't actively participate in this war as well, or we can help GoW and ND but in the end we'll have to give away anything that we conquer.
GoW told us that they signed a NAP with us in order to prevent ND from backstabbing them. But after the joint chat, it became clear that this was also a scam that GoW pulled on us in an attempt to prevent us from intervening while they and ND split up a continent that is more than three times larger than Stormia, according to the tile count.
IMHO, the spirit of the agreement that GS agreed to was to prevent ND from using us to backstab GoW. A day or two later (after the NAP was already signed, IIRC) GoW tried to stretch the spirit of the agreement to include that GS establishing presence on Bob without the consent of GoW would constitute an act of hostility, as forbidden by the NAP. But changes to a contract cannot be made retroactively, at least not without the consent of all parties involved, and we have made very obvious statements during the chat against GoW's plans for GS.
Well, it was posted by Shiber anyway.........

Did I do something to seriously insult you that you release such statements?
Don't tell me that you took the PermaBan joke in the thread seriously... certainly, that would be ridiculous since it was your own idea!

                  • Shiber,

Ignorance does not make it right.

Instead of saying...I didnt know, therefore I could of made a mistake or misunderstood.

Say "Geeze...I screwed up, I retract the above statement"

Otherwise, give us permission to post proof that your statement is completely wrong.

                      • It is possible that GS should have anticipated the GoW/ND alliance, but the reality is that the majority considered it too unlikely that ND would allow Riders to move through their territory to set up the attack. (Edit: Not to mention how corrupt RP's territory would be for GoW, undercutting the value of such an alliance.) And even if we had anticipated that that's how the sides would shape up, a legitimate NAP would have given us just as much right to conquer RP lands in the upcoming war as GoW had. GoW's expectations for our behavior went far beyond the boundaries of a NAP.

                        • If GoW is sincere in its accusations rather than just trying to flame us, I would be interested to see the alledged proof of "lying" via PM or e-mail so I can try to figure out where the miscommunication occurred.

                          • Hmmm ....

                            Personal opinion.....

I think GoW actions would of been totally different had GS accepted cities other than those right in the line of fire which directly hampered our war effort, and declined us victory over strategic RP military targets.
Then declined a right of passage through those cities basically stopping our advance while still claiming that they are only neutral in this conflict.

Had RP gifted and GS accepted southern cities, the GoW probably would of be forced to say that it was not a hostile act directed GoW.

Saying that the GoW expected our NAP agreement to stop GS from getting on Bob is complete and utter garbage.
The original signing of the NAP had nothing to do with keeping GS out...only protecting us from an attack during an internal Bob conflict.

Our issue is with the cities GS chose to accept from RP, and their actions related to those cities.

                            • Big deal.

We did not attack GoW to get those cities. GoW attacked us once we had them.

                              Deal with it.
