    Brennus scares me!

Finnaly, conformation on all the civs, no more speculation! Thank you Firaxis!

It seems the Celtic UU is based off of the Midevial Infantry, yet they still have midevial infantry walking around with the UUs, weird...

Actually, judging from the name of the Celt UU, I'd say it's based off of the Ancient Swordsman! I must say that, though these screenshots do answer a lot of questions (like what civs are in, what the Celt UU is and what the Men-at-Arms look like!) they also raise a couple of intriguing new questions, mostly pertaining to the interface buttons associated with the units! There are a few that I have NEVER seen before-especially for the worker unit! Anyone care to speculate on what some of the new buttons might do?
Anyway, I second what Darkworld just said. Thankyou Firaxis!!! I'm salivating like a Starving man who has just been shown an image of a 3-course meal!!!

Ah ha! It was the Celts after all .

        And the Arabs are in!

But no Incas . I guess that is for expansion #2 .

I was sure the Arabs weren't going to make it, but that is awesome news. Too bad about the Incas though.

I guessing that the new buttons for the workers would have to be some of the short cut keys such as the SHift A, SHift J etc. Its gotta be it.

BTW the celts look vicous and are kicking butt on those screen shots.

Also guessing that the listing of leaders and civ at the top, with points as well, is a shorter and quick view of the current scores of each civ.

I bet that those Medievil Infantry units are the upgrade for swordsmen. They probably co-exist with the Musketman unt, then both are upgradable to rifleman. Hopefully this integrates the swordsman into the upgrade scheme!

I bet that the Swordsman upgrades to Medieval Infantry, but the Celts can't build Medieval Infantry, they can only build Gallic Swordsmen and Swordsmen. But, since they can build Swordsmen, then upgrade them, that is how they have both units running around.

Yeah, I think it would have been nice to have the Incas replace the Arabs in this one...and save the Arabs and Israelites for the next one.

Ah well, I hope we get our Incas (in the next xp)!

This is incredible! I guess it is finally confirmed, Arabs, Ottomans and Koreans are all in, if this screenshot is to be trusted. I think Brennus looks really cool, as does the Gallic Swordsman. I think Brennus is a highly questionable choice for Celtic leader though, I would have much rather seen Vercingetorix.

All in all, PTW is looking to be the greatest thing since the advent of the Polio vaccine.

Congrats to fans of the Arabs, they are a highly worthy civ. Let's just hope Inca, Hebrews, Dutch, and the rest of the popular remaining civs make it in the next one!

A little overpowering for a upgrade of the Swordsman, since it adds 1 to both attack & movement, making it an ancient Knight that you can get two advances after you begin the game.

Did anybody else see that we now have 3 militaristic & religious civs?

                            Gallic Swordsman

My theory about the Gallic Swordsman:

Since the new Medieval Infantry is 4/2/1, I think the 4/2/2 Gallic Swordsman is instead of it for the Celts. (Info from the screenshots.)

In the preview they mentioned that the swordsman can "transform to" Guerilla Fighter, but IMHO the first upgrade is medieval swordsman.

So the future of the swordsman is the following:

                            1. Swordsman (3/2/1)
                            *upgrade*
                            2. Medieval Infantry (4/2/1) OR - Celts only - Gallic Swordsman (4/2/2)
                            *upgrade*
                            3. Guerilla Fighter (?/?/?)

                            Isn't it logical?

They would have called the unit Asterix if it wasn't for copyright issues.
