Wow I didn't even know we were still doing this till Beta sent me a PM a few days ago.

Its seems like much has been decided.

I would vote for as free as possible communications between the team members. This is after all a TEAM game.

Where does Sir Ralph stand with the map has anyone talked to him?

Hey one last +1

We need to set up the turn order so that all the North Americanos play, then all the Aussie/Kiwis.

Or else this game is gonna take FOREVER.

That would also be conducuve to cooperative playing. ie playing the turn while discussing it via mIRC or AIM chat room or whatever.

It just opens some more possibilities for a team game.

And did we reach a consensus over what is legitemate in the pre-game discussion in crontast to in-game? As far as I understand, we are allowed to discuss anything we want untill we start the game, after which we obey the contact rules as for iron civ... Hmm would mean we have to establish embassies. Or do they come prebuild with locked alliances? And would we be allowed to share maps after mapmaking?

I did not at any point understand that we were going to follow the strict Iron civ protocol. I had thought we were simply to refrain from any discussion of things requiring knowledge of this specific game until we had contact, then anything goes (intra-team).
