Rejoice all peoples of the world, for peace has returned to our time.

It is with great satisfaction that I can announce here today that an agreement has been reached.

Terms of the ceasefire as follows.

England will keep all hostages/refugees gained whilst prosecuting this war, and Senor MF Camillus will donate 1 gold coin to the English treasury. This transfer of moneys is to be conducted at an agreed time by both combatants and without the overseeing of America.

Prirme minister Paddy of Her Majestys Government has added a sweetener to the deal as sign of friendship and good faith in that England will donate a newly built colony to the Spanish people. This will serve as compensation for Spains losses during the recent hostilities.

It is now for the Spanish Government to decide a suitable site for this new colony and this will hopefully be announced soon.

We must ask in the strongest terms our friends Germany to cease their overexpansion!! We do not say your actions are carried out in bad deed but we would advise that it may be seen as greedy! by lesser nations.

Your growth is to be congratulated and we wish your people well, however your colonies are getting very close to the hearts of other nations and could become the future bone of contention that might trigger further hostilities. You have publicly stated that you dislike petty squabbles and war, well Sir might I ask you in the interests of world peace that you cease your colonisation, allowing some time for our English and Spanish friends to recover from the economic effects of their misguided war.

America will happily sign an agreement for equal land rights and will agree here and now not to settle on any new isalnds other than those already settled or within her existing borders. I pas this document to our esteemed German friends in the hope that they can see its importance at this juncture.

All that remains for me is to congratulate my friends the English and the Spanish, on behalf of all Americans on there splendid decision to settle their dispute. The path of peace is a difficult road, and not many can find strength enough to walk its length, we salute you both

The Germans are glad to hear of the peace found between Spain and England. Mayhaps this will be the first of many turns played without the dreaded Battle Report.

Germany is saddened to hear that our esteemed Colleagues are afraid of our might. Do not be jealous of our success, for success it is to have such a mighty nation amdist the constant danger of war. Nay, be proud to be amongst greatness.

Germany does not intend war, and, barring provocation, shall not make war on any of our Friendly nations. We expand our borders such that the German people may benefit from trade and the hard work which characterizes the German people.

We would gladly see other nations continue colonizing the various Islands of this world, but do not intend to halt our great mission of peace and prosperity. We in fact encourage the newly peaceable nations of England and Spain to seek out new shores and plant their flags, as there are yet many unsettled islands amongst us, and many opportunities for their growth and prosperity, such that they might one day soon rival our own greatness, and bring a better world to us all.

I was saddened to see that my foreign advisor has not recieved official confirmation of a signed peace treaty between our friends, Spain and England. Gentlemaen are there still some details that need attendance ?

If this is not the case might we suggest one of you proposes a treaty and the other accepts as soon as is humanly possible

To our German friends, we must repeat our advisory comments of the previous despatches to you. I am upset that you seem to not care of our concerns for world peace and stability !! We humbly requested that you cease your empirical expansion for a time, this was not so that we could increase our holdings but so that our other world nations might yet have a chance to expand their holdings in their recovery from war. You mock me Sire with your suggestion that I may be jealous of your people, far from it as I believe America is a great nation in its own right, and does not need to seek gratification from the works of others.

No Sir I think you missed the point completely, you are to my mind rushing ahead and grabbing as many prime colonial sites as you can, which if this were an even race I would applaud you for your outstanding success.

However this is not a fair race at all as the two nations who have been at war have fell far behind in the expansion stakes, whilst your nation has and is still seeking to prosper from these circumstances!!!

I ask you again Sir in the interests of world peace please halt your expansion programme, at least for a time so that England and Spain might be allowed some breathing space in the race for land.

The Germans are again saddened to hear that their righteous Expansion of the Great German State is causing offense to our friends the Americans. In the spirit of cooperation, we are willing to make a few compromises to ensure the survival and flourishing of the English and Spanish states.

To wit, we make the following suggestion for a Division of the Territories. Our general plan is to allow our nation and the American nation to occupy lands immediately near our homeland, to ensure our Safety in the event of military action. The remainder of lands, including most or all of the islands with several city squares possible, shall be divided between the Spanish and the English in the most logical and equitable divsion that is reasonable.

Note: This is a first draft, and the Germans would gladly take suggestions for making this more just. We are being rather rushed, so do not have an opportunity to double-check this for fairness.
We are willing to negotiate, although some of the squares we desire are necessary for our Safety, and will be very hesitant to give up. None of the cities already established shall be given up, but some islands already occupied will be 'shared' islands, to allow our friends opportunities to occupy quality city spaces. Where we state "Isle near X" we of course mean all of the island nearest, or in direction Y, to X. Where we state "Island with X city" we mean to state that that island shall be Shared, and often limit it to a single city or two.

Germany we do not wish to share islands we inhabit already with your nation, while we appreciate your efforts to find a solution to these problems we will not accept your colonies opn lands claimed by America!!

If you build any cities on our islands we will consider this an act of aggression!!

We understand your concern, and agree with your general argument. However, if you wish to reach a solution to your concern, some tradeoffs are inevitable.

If the Americans do not wish to accept our proposal to sit down at the table, we will understand this, but will continue in our efforts to enrich the mighty German nation. We will respect American sovereignity, so long as the Americans continue to respect German sovereignity.
