I have retalliated to the best of my ability, unlike your on thread posts regards your reasons to attack me I was totally unprepared for this attack.
I assume it was just in character reasoning to make your attack look justified. I wont debate the rights and wrongs of that with you especially after our experiences of roleplay in the EOD game.
So OOC completely here im certain you just took advantage of my upreparedness and saw a good chance to strike, if however you did believe i was up to some plan or other how can i assure you it was not the case ?
I did have a transport heading out to an island in the middle of no where when you struck, it carried i think a settler a worker and 2 infantry, i can get the details from the previous save if you wish.
I have watched your build up on your town Dortmund i think it is for a few turns and felt something was likely going to happen at some stage, but you acted far sooner than i expected.
No excuses Ill take what ever comes, but i would like to ask if there is any chance of a peace at all, my main requirement would be to regain control of my home island. What could i offer , i suppose i could pay a higher price to you for trades and or provide a lux at a beter price to you, i could assist with technology, i think ive been slightly leading you on that but not absolutely sure.
If you are just going to roll over me as i fear is your plan then make it swift.

I sunk 2 of your destryers, one near the island i share with Paddy, killed by bombing, and one to the south of washington killed by bombardment and a final assault from a cruiser..

To MFC ive unfortunately forced war with you due to your MPP with Snoop, what im confused over is why our MPP did not trigger when he attacked me ? i thought we had such a treaty ?
Ive not interfered with anything Spanish at all and hope we can remain neutral or even reaffirm peace and friendship between our civs ?
Paddy I see you were already at war with Snoop so i guess this makes us allies sort of like WW2 Only thing is I doubt at this moment America is going to be around for long enough to be a good ally
MFC if you would be able to ask the Chancellor to cease fire as per your offer then id be interested in hearing any proposals.
Gentlemen and My once great friend Chancellor Snoopy the charges laid at Americas door are completly false, we had no plans to harm germany, we were still looking to colonise some of the last available lands in this world and our people were busy learning and educating their children.
Please also remeber America is the last of the 4 nations of this world to strike an offensive blow, til now we had never spilled anothers blood ! We could not be expected to lay down our arms after Germany's outrageous and unprovoked attack.
If it is possible to find a settlement America desires peace, but we must have back our territory on our home island !
