  • McM - I ran into the same outrageous price from Russia. I refused to give into their demands.

Me thinks they will pay soon for their lack of co-operation.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.

      • Intermediate report on the proceedings of McMeadows II

620 AD The Chinese capital of Canton has been conquered, and as a result there’s no iron available to China anymore. Traded monotheism for gems, 21 gpt & some pennies with Russian. Good choice Catherine. Thanks for supporting our economy and increaing our tech rate. Invented chemistry.

640 AD The people appreciate the new course set by McMeadows II and granted him an palace build-on in European style. An indoor swimming pool on the second floor. Tatung was abandoned and the Chinese city of Hangchow captured.

660 AD Calaris found by the settlers from former Hangchow.

670 AD Another palace build-on in European style was granted by our people. Now the kings have an indoor walkthrough to the East Wing. Some sad news as well, our Elite hero horseman Leo died in the battle for Xinjian.

680 AD Leo was revenged with the destruction of Xinjan.

690 AD Heroic epic was built in Theveste

700 AD Iroquois finished Sun Tzu Art of War

The science slider has been dropped a little to cash up. Millitary tradition will now be available at the moment Leo's workshop is finished (knights to cavs, Num mercs to musketmen). Efficiency. In several cities aquaducts have been and are being rushed. The People's Republic of China will soon be no more.

Now Hiawatha is in for a really impressive tumble.

Because, darn it, Modo III will probably be late for Catherine.

Sorry no native English speaker here, what do you mean?

840 AD to G64. Proceedings will be published shortly. First I have to do some shopping. A little teaser:

2 turns to the open seas and Russia is going down the drain...

Either switch Windows resolution to 800x600 before running Civ3 and then take the screenie, or take the screenie with your normal resolution and then resize it to 800x600. The second method will loose some sharpness, though. Most graphic programs or viewers can do that, I use IrfanView.

                            Good job with the Ruskies.
Now Gamecube can prepare my overseas invasion.
If Paddy doesn't steal it from me.

                            • Final proceedings of McMeadows II

700 AD (continued) Tsingtao & Tentsin captured, which ended the last Chinese Dynasty.
730 AD Russians in our territory (archer, pikeman and settler), asked to leave or announce war). Catherine called back her troops and questioned our trust.
740 AD Russians in our territory (archer, pikeman and settler), asked to leave or announce war.
750 AD Russians in our territory (galley), asked to leave or announce war. Tingis was found.
770 AD Military Tradition invented and finished Leo's Workshop, upgraded all Num Merc's in cities with barracks.
780 AD Sad news as the CSS Intreprid sank in search of the unknown continent of which has been often spoken, but which has never been proven to exist. All knights were upgraded to cav's.
790 AD Sistine Chapel built in Carthage. WAR with Russia emerged. Yekatherinburg was conquered.
800 AD Another European expansion to our palace. Our troops captured St. Petersburg
810 AD Rostov city of gems fell in our hands. Our scientists finished their research on the concept of Education.
830 AD Crystal Palace was found, increasing our stock on gems. Vladivostok was captured by our trampling troops
840 AD Krasnoyarsk was captured. In the battle over Moscow the brave King McMeadows II led his troops for the last time. He had allready felt he was weakening and had hoped he would be able to see his troops march into Moscow before he would close his eyes for the last time. It was not to be. Just as Moscow was about to fall, McMeadows II fell a little earlier. Fortunately his successor was allready at his side and was more then ready to step in ... Will Gamecube III fullfill the last wish of his predecessor and bury in the centre of Moscow?
