Hmmm, so by the use of the word 'now' are you admitting your hypocrisy in using insults to forward your call for being constructive? If so, I will reply to your request.

Funny how you haven't though .
I respond to fire with fire, acid with acid. You want a change, you make a change. In thus way, insults is consistent with making it constructive.
Yin, yin, yin... you are as boring as you were at OWO. Will your inflated ego ever admit to anything?“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

None on your end either (like that was shocking)
What about you wouldn't post again on the thread, unless to speak about something constructive. First post back (less that 24 hours later) is a direct insult. Are you trying to be constructive? Or will you say answering insult with insult?
Same thing I was doing to you? And you don't happen to be a hypocrite? Only me, right? While Yin is perfect
You are a despicable person. Always has been. I spit in your general direction.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Never insulted you in that post. Merely pointed out the VERY obvious point that using insults (which you admit to) to further a claim of "Let's be constructive" is hypocritical.
Simply, really.
And yet you heap on ever MORE insults. Interesting...I've been on these boards for a long time and I still don't know what to think when it comes to you -- FrantzX, December 21, 2001

And once again, Yin tries to weasel out of it. One wonders if he's every admited to being wrong in his entire life. My bet is on no.
He's a lowlife, really.
And thus endeth this little spat. Yin is saying nothing of consequence.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Oh, I make plenty of mistakes almost on a daily basis, but that's not the issue here. The issue is you seem incapable of having a civil discussion. You insult. You spit. You bring up stuff from 3 years ago for God's sakes.
Say something constructive, Imran. Try.I've been on these boards for a long time and I still don't know what to think when it comes to you -- FrantzX, December 21, 2001

(look at the last line in the first post, especially)
Fire with fire, acid with acid. He has his agenda, I have mine.
And I may have started, but you claim that Yin hasn't done it back? The ultimate in hubris!
Btw, were you on the OWO boards? Then you probably wouldn't understand the history.
Yin, how come I've had civil exchanges with Mister Pleasant and Jeje? Pretty constructive with them. Sorry you seem to bring the worst out of me, always have .“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Here's the problem: I am criticizing FIRAXIS ... not you. And I am NOT using personal insults at them, either.
YOU, however, decide that gives you the green light to attack ME using personal insults.
Makes no sense. If you want to attack my arguments, feel free. But you resort to personal attacks which only weakens your point and, in fact, makes you look paranoid and hypocritical.
Sorry, but this is a forum. When I feel I have cause to criticise something Firaxis did, I will. How in the world you then decide it's helpful to attack me with such hate is truly baffling.
And, yes, pathetic. Just so you know:
pa¡¤thet¡¤ic
1 : having a capacity to move one to either compassionate or contemptuous pity
2 : marked by sorrow or melancholy
I am taking the 'campassionate' side of the pity and certainly agree with your style being quite sorrowful and melancholy.I've been on these boards for a long time and I still don't know what to think when it comes to you -- FrantzX, December 21, 2001

Hey guys let's wait 2 weeks and 2 1/2 hrs Pacific and find out just how good or bad the game is, OK?
I just realize our school will have teacher only days on Nov 1 and 2, guess what I will be doing both days plus Sat and Sun. 4 day to play Civ and do nothing else.

Imran I take that as a personal attack against anyone, including myself, who have expressed serious reservations about any part of the Civ3 approach in the past. I don't want to get involved in your "discussion" with Yin, but I suggest you take a long hard look at your recent posts and cool off. You are being destructive, offensive and violating the board rules. To doubt everything or to believe everything are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the necessity of reflection.

I can understand if a team tell to us: "ok, we fully debugged the SP part, some tuning and bugs solving in MP force us to sell the game in two piece (better if the second, MP part will be added for free, of course).
But speaking about "still working with very interesting and revolutionary idea about MP" (not an exact quote, but I hope I keep the original meaning) make me considering it a bad warning sign.
It seems MP and SP are leading to quite different game coding, and that would means trouble with debugging and upgrading.
Of course you can have good game (e.g. Max Payne AFAIK) without MP, because the design and the rules force you to have SP only. It's a design decision, simply tell it to your custumers ASAP.
Sometimes they tell to us info (e.g. some Wonders showing on the main map, as a cool Great Wall). Then, as if nothing relevant, happened, they discarded the whole thing.
Ok, it's part of the development process to trim some fat. I have some personal doubt they cut also some vital organ in the process
Am I insulting Firaxis?
They are promising to us the greatest game of genre. Are they just kidding with us?
Let's pass a couple of month, then we will see the truth."We are reducing all the complexity of billions of people over 6000 years into a Civ box. Let me say: That's not only a PkZip effort....it's a real 'picture to Jpeg heavy loss in translation' kind of thing."
