Probably an appropriate time for a new moves thread.

    WAR!!!

Eli was successful. He accomplished his mission quickly taking no wounds himself. The honor of the first victory goes to him. And he was responsible for our golden age.

Prior to that - the deal with GS was concluded- 95 of their gold pieces slid into our treasury.

The screen shots will show the moves best.

Harry and Mo moved into position. All our warriors are bugging out for Dissidentville.

Dissidentville produced a vet spearman who moved into the mountains.

The stack moves south. It includes the two workers, and the warrior from irom mountain.

The other two warriors from the north follow. The last one will cut the road to put the Immortal pump back into operation.

Spent a long time re-arranging citizens to get things to work out. The Voice was one shield short on being able to complete the settler next turn, as and WC and Miller Town were also wasting shields. But after some playing with it - we can get 12 shields of production out of the Voice - settler is out next turn. WC will produce a vet spearman. And Miller Town a spearman in two turns.

I also determined that it was best to locate the new city one tile up - but still on the coast. With the accelerated production, the road to the new site would not be ready in time, costing us a turn. Also - the worker can strat improving another tile for all three cities' use. He is going to be busy. A number of cities are growing in a few turns.

So - when cranked up in a couple of turns - Miler Town can pump out one vet warrior each turn. When the Voice re-grows it can do the same. WC will require two turns for awhile. HH can do it in 4. And Elipolis is up to 5 shields, and growing soon as well.

We are up to plus 30gpt, and the 95 gold put us at 380. Research is still at 10%, 35 turns. At 100% we can get it down to 22, but it remains at 10%.

Well - that's about it I think. The announcement has gone in the public forum. We have communicated with RP and GoW. I will do Lego. Can someone take NeuD.

And oh yes - three regular warriors were named Fleka the fighter, Tekoa the tiger, and Hoover the Deep Cleaner. We had one vet warrior, and he was named Lucca the Lucky given his mature status.

Here we go folks. To Victory!

I think we should send one warrior to guard the Iron.

If GS has cities on the eastern coast, they will most definitely try to land a small force in an attempt to take away our advantage.

I also determined that it was best to locate the new city one tile up - but still on the coast.
One tile NW (9) would still fit with the size 12 boundaries I outlined in my city plan. One tile N (8) would not as it could not reach one of the plains tiles near Elipolis. Maybe not a big deal but I would want to take another look at distribution of tiles to use the N tile.

I think we should send one warrior to guard the Iron.
We will have a spearman on the iron shortly. Once things get going we will keep a couple Immortals in the iron and Dissidentville area just in case.

Yup - I was not intenting to leave it unguarded.

A spearman and two immortals will be going there this trun. The immortals will be ferried by the galley to the east coast mountains. The spearman will remain to guard the iron.

The warrior who was there will be upgraded to an Immortal.

edit - I see Harry also responded.

Heh. I was sure we're still in the ancient age.

Looks like Kon's development plans v. 1.0 still holds! Your argument about putting the city there are good (i.e. less waste of our GA)

As long as we're on mountains, our SoD is untouchable by chariots, which probably is most of their army...

A second galley in Eliopolis certainly could help on the east coast. Is it far from completion? Is it worth it?

Do we have all of our cities with at least one spearman garrisoned in them?

I ask this because I would not put it past GS to try and sneak (via sea route) to one or more of our undefended cities and take it without having to fight for it....just food for thought.

Some of the northern cities are undefended. With our view of the sea we will have some warning before GS could get a galley up there. More likely is they will try to cut our iron first.

We should at least keep a couple of spearmen in the north. Lets not forget that we may need to defend two cities ay once, If they get Charriots up there.

If the **** hits the fan, how long will it take Elipolis to build walls?
