I just got home from Mexico City and hurried to play the turn, forgetting to send the Wines to Vox.

I HOPE there will be no problems, if not, we would be willing to offer another round of wines after this one expires as compensation for this mistake.

Umm, we still had wines at the end of last turn. It wasn't a deal that expired. I wonder if MZ just misunderstood and thought he had to send wines again. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Should we trade Nationalism to GoW now? They only have wines and gold to trade us, but if we can lock up wines for near perpetuity it would certainly be useful. I'm thinking we should trade it.

BTW, we can't trade Nationalism to ND quite yet as they have not finished the medieval age. Roleplay is still stuck at physics too.

I thought Lego wanted as not to spread the tech around as to make it more costly for the others to research. I am assuming this as an extension of Lego NOT wanting our free tech now for that very reason. We might want to check.

Good point. I forgot about that. If you can ask Vondrack about it we'll know. If we don't trade it right away that's fine, but I would like to get something out of it from GoW if we can.

Official acceptance deal sent to Master Zen and UnOrthOdOx

Greetings to Master Zen, UnOrthOdOx and the many fine people of Glory of War. In accord with the deal Master Zen and I worked out regarding nationalism for medicine and a 20 turn wine extension, here is the official acceptance I have prepared. Please review it, sign it and return it to me. Pleasure doing business with you again.

Official Tech Deal Acceptance

The nation of Glory of War agrees to send the technology of medicine-unaccepted to the nation of Vox Controli on 780ad. Upon Vox Controli's turn we will add the technology of nationalism to the deal and accept it. On the start of Glory of Wars next turn they will accept and finalize the deal.

In addition there will be a 20 no-trade clause from the turn that Glory of War accepts the final deal (i.e. 790ad) in which Vox Controli will not trade medicine to any other team and Glory of War will not trade nationalism to any other team.

There will also be a 20 turn extension of the existing luxury deal in which Glory of War is sending wines to Vox Controli.

I suspect Lego may want medicine after the 20 turns is up. Or maybe they want to negotiate for it now. Guess we should check.
