In an effort to solve the problem of the loss you and other teams will suffer from in the event of a Voxian demise, I have come up with an Idea to provide you with Engineering, without relying on Vox.

We were informed by ND that they are working on Engineering, and would acquire approximately when Vox plans to. ND expressed their willingness to sell us the tech, and hence the following idea, this was not discussed with ND yet, but a PM was also sent to them regarding this

This includes ND selling the tech for a very low price, to compensate the loss of gold resulting from any downpayment Vox has recieved from you. GoW would have to back down from the deal with Vox, but you have already expressed interest in getting the tech from us, so I don't see this as a big problem.

We were thinking that insuring a source for Eng. for everyone interested, would reduce the foreign interest in Vox's prolonged survival, except for weakening the GS, of course.

I hope you can see the possible benefits you can have from this: a safe source for a tech you are now not so sure you could have, this will also allow you more freedom in dealing with us in the future, or as GF would have said: "take less heat".

Please tell me if you are interested, and if you think this could work with the other teams.

GS is cofortable enough with their relations with ND that they are asking them to 'greatly discount' the selling of Engineering. Consider that relationship confirmed from GS now as well. Whether this is a full alliance or simply good relations is impossible to tell yet. Guess the chat was more effective at drawing this out than I originally thought...

What did we give Vox for Engineering? Was it as part of our assistance? was it the 30 gold?

Anyway, ND would probably straight trade for Chiv, maybe even throw in a bit o gold...

We can still give Vox 30g .. even if we get engineering from a different source....thus we are honouring our contract.

I didnt know ND was studying engineering. I thought ND was going to get Engineering from us when we got it from Vox. Better check this. GS may have their facts wrong.

I will feel out Darekill and borc, but my initial thought is that ND is getting Engineering from us and then planning on selling to GS. This is the typical transaction ND negotiates.

ND has been negotiating my Asylum with their team also.

I'm not so sure about this because ND offered us to trade something for Engineering in our last chat. That means they really might be researching it.

OK, Ok.

I am back from my trip trying to get caught up on everything today. Ill get to the PBEM's tonight, I noticed them in my inbox, but didn't have time before work.

I did find something of mild interest in my PM box, though. I was asked not to relay the message, so I will place down the basics of it.

GS has challenged us (well, me particularly) to a battle of roleplaying/fun/story telling in the public forum. Glancing over there, it seems they have already begun. I don't know if they are intending to challenge everyone or not, but it is a good idea.

Ill have the next edition of my story out before the day is done. Feel free to begin your own, add seperate stories, whatever have you.
