Speaking with our wise men, I've learnt that we have two new bits of knowledge that could play a part in such a deal -- "Literature" and "Code of Laws". Perhaps your wise men have heard of them?

I still struggle to understand this "map" concept, though our scouts are giddy with glee over the concept. I've been asked to tell you that we'd be interested in trading world maps with you, once we've both got the appropriate technology.

Thank you for your time. I hope your wise men can make some sense of this information -- mine have driven me mad with explanations of these (apparently wonderous) new maps you speak of. Perhaps I'll understand better once I've seen these so-called Maps for myself, as I trust I will be able to soon.

Lets trade map making for RP's map + literature. Lit is of lower value than map making, therefore we make up the difference with world map.

They will want our map in return...and I would say ours is more valuable than theirs.

Plus, we would probably get almost our entire continent when we gets ND's map. So RP's map is not very valuable. We would want it just to fill in the small gaps, before our next war starts.

Unless of course, if ND sells them their map. Then our map would be almost worthless. We need to check with ND.

And I guess we plan on selling our maps to Vox & GS, in which case, RP could get it from them.

So if we get their WM then great. If we have to do a map swap, then as you say Panzer...MM is more expensive than Lit, and we would like to screw them a bit more. Obviously, we need to see what ND is doing.

How did they get both Lit and CoL? Did they get it from GS?

I'm sure they got CoL from GS, but I cannot stress enough that we need to iron out trade deals with EVERYONE for our map and Mapmaking in the next 48 hours. This should be the primary goal right now.

The Glory of War gets Map making in one turn. I suggest that Roleplay trade for them soon, or else you will be left behind in tech trading. In your last PM, you said you had literature, which the Glory of War would be interested in acquiring. Aditionally, since the editor value is higher for map making than it is for literature, a trade would require aproximatly 10 gold from Roleplay to cover the difference.

Additionally, please remove your warrior from the north. We feel it might upset ND, and we can't get them upset until we're ready (unlike what Lux did).

Chatting with Togas, Mapmaking for Literature is go. They want to trade World Maps with the contingency that if either of us gets a map trade from GS or Vox we give the map to the other team.

Togas is interested in a Warrior trade deal, and plans to discuss it with his team.

(If we can't get warriors from ND we'll practice on Spainards!)

Roleplay agrees to trade Literature for Mapmaking.

Roleplay agrees to:
Give our World Map to Glory of War in exchange for their World Map
Not try to sell or trade Mapmaking for 10 turns.
Give Glory of War our World Map again on the first occasion of us receiving the World Map of Vox and Gathering Storm.

Glory of War agrees to:
Give our World Map to Roleplay in exchange for their World Map
Give Roleplay our World Map again on the first occasion of us receiving the World Map of Vox and Gathering Storm.
Give Roleplay our World Map on the first occasion of us receiving the World Map of Legoland.

Dear Panzer,
I'm afraid that this message will have to be rather brief, as I'm short on time -- RL intervienes yet again. My apologies for my abruptness.

Roleplay has two deals it needs to negotiate with GoW.
1) Is GoW interested in spliting the cost of investigating Arneblanca, the ND coastal city, with us. The cost for you would be 10 gold.
2) We'll have Monarchy soon, and would like to begin discussion of possible trades and sales of the tech. We'd like to aquire Construction + 150 gold for it; we're working on negotations with ND for currency.

The only reason we would help investigate city would be to make them think we're distrustful of ND, and 10 gold might be worth it (we can also find out a bit of info).

Monarchy trade: the $ is steep. Please comment.

They are likely asking ND for Currency + hefty sum as well.

Are we going to go Republic or Monarchy? We don't need the wonder, so if we are going Republic anyway, this tech is worthless to us. It is not needed for age, not needed for govt or wonder, certainly not worth Const +150.

We can offer both Const and Currency if they want, or just tell them we don't need the tech at all, that we are either going republic or waiting around for Communism to keep the pop rush. Even if we plan to use Monarchy, they need not know that.

I think we should go with Republic, then acquire Monarchy when it is dirt cheap. Our goal is to use suprise swift attacks - a concept I like to refer to as Glitzkrieg (Glory of war bLITZKRIEG). If planned right we should not have to worry about War Weariness.
