I forgot, Lego doesn't have the naval movement bonus anymore. At least some of their Transports are within 4 tiles of Abilene.
they still had it when their transports moved last turn, though. So 5 tiles...

I think we should take an Explorer down to where Tip used to be. Should be able to spot the ships from there.
Good idea! They might not spot them in all cases, but it will give us a much better view on things. Plus, our explorers have served their purpose as well...
Between our MI and Tanks left over we should be able to take out the Jackson stack too. Our Artillery would be better used there as we don't lose any of the shots to "city" targets.
plan for movement:
- create road on NI 9
- use transport in NI to scout for subs, moving 12
- in case no sub is found, load rest of transports in NI with marines spread around the land
- attack Abilene with marines until all infs are attacked once
- attack any elite unit showing with marines, also continuing the rest of the steps
- bombard with our 8 art
- attack all troops with tanks (surviving Legos will promote)
- use leftover marines to attack leftovers
- finish with tanks if the above was not enough.
I'm not sure if we will have marines left in this scenario or not. I think not, but I'm not sure.
In any case, we need to keep 3 tanks for leader generation (one of those can be a damaged on, 2 need to be full health). Otherwise, we start with those, and see if we have a shot at leaders first before going for Abilene.

We know they are in those 12 tiles SW of Abilene then. We can reach all but the 4 tiles due SW of Abilene, so they will be there. 5 Tiles out.
Probably just leave the Explorer there, at least for now.
Yes. Once we take Abilene, we can scout 3 of those 4 tiles with the explorer.
It's more a matter of principle, really, it doesn't really matter. Abilene is toast anyway, as will Lego be on land.
Yah, wait on the exposed units. We can use MI to try for Leaders if we need all the Tanks taking Abilene. The MI will kill the barbs as well as a Tank, and are almost as sure to kill the exposed/hurt Lego Tanks too.
Yeah if the battle for Abilene was less than fortunate, we could even take a damaged tank to kill a barb and use arts to drop the exposed tanks to 1HP in a crunch.
I hope we can avoid using any MI as they are best used for covering stacks or cities.

I think it may be better to just go straight with Marines first. We'll lose some more units, but have more Tanks alive at the end than otherwise.
Let's see how our first couple of transports do... it might not make a difference, but in case we only have e.g. 5 marines left after we get to sure-to-be-promoted units (so taking out the elites, and having one sot at everything), we better save them as they will be used anyway.
If our first marine takes out the army... well...
As to going for leaders first: we won't need the tanks. and an army now would be insane, a possible GL should be saved for a wonder, be it the Internet, UN, or one of the SS parts. But this is all so remotely possible I doubt we need to think about which wonder right now
