  • I like it very much, when I saw Beta's post (and for once I think he was serious ), I wanted to write something similar ( it wouldn't nearly be as eloquent and to the point, but hey).
I don't think Beta knows excactly what his/their action has led too (and visa-versa?).
Let's see if we can use this as an oppotunity to go back to fun.

The sooner it get's posted, the better as far as I am concerned.

PS: if you want to name me as one of the persons on virge of retiring, no problem with that.

    • I think it would be better to address Beta in private about such matters NYE. I think it's worded too confrontational for even that though.

Beta's posting was wrong IMO because it takes too much a personal shot at GS in a public forum, and given that it had been sent to all the other teams, amounted to little more than a troll.

      • Aeson, I think in conjunction with some fun-filled StormHawking, it should be fine in public.

In fact, the more I think about it, returning to roleplay, trash-talking, fun, and just playing the game... instead of Beta's politicking and head games, GS takes the moral ('poly-ish) high ground. Which is fine by me.

        • Aeson does have a point, how about sending it to all leaders through PM (incliding a line that it was sent to all teams and (mainly) addressed to Beta)
          How's that for compromise.

          • If everyone could read Aidun's and Beta's last 'give peace in the thread a chance' type posts in that thread first... That will be how everyone else reads these posts from us. I personally found those posts (given prior and even later posts in the same threads) the lowlight of the entire game so far.

            • I agree, Aeson. I think my post may be more poignant now. It is more of an appeal to stop the bull****.

              • I've had it. Togas' posts are just absurd.

I'm gonna launch in a few minutes, just want to catch up on the rest in here.

                • nye, to your post about the insults taking away the fun, up to the point of wanting to resign: I completely agree. Resignation has crossed my mind, but I wouldn't want you guys to take the burden alone. ATM, if the team would start a discussion to stop this game, I could easily be pursuaded...

However, it is still a game, one where 'diplomatic' relations to other people is more important then in-game skills. I still would like to learn more about that aspect of MP, even if at times it is painful to continue.
