Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

Well, I'll make it quick then... in production, Cyclone can be tweaked to build the Worker in one turn, and I think we should consider Walls in Tempest.
The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

Cyclone doesn't need to be tweaked. It builds the worker this turn due to the production the new citizen makes.

An extra Pike in Tempest gives us better odds of holding the city than the walls. Arashi can finish a Pike this turn as well (short rushed, 40 g?). That would give us 8 Pikes between Arashi and Tempest.

I'd put 4 in both. Split the Swords/Med Inf too, so that they'd have to win every fight (extremely low odds) to have a shot at WC's. Then have 2 WC's in Tempest, and the rest in Arashi. That should put us at 8 units in Tempest (they can attack with up to 7), and 12? units in Arashi (they can attack with up to 9, on a Spear). 4 Pikes, 2 Swords/Med Inf, 2+ WC's.

Actually, the walls work better than the extra Pike. I was thinking we could fortify again.

In that case, 4 Pikes in Tempest, 3 in Arashi (2 which are fortified).

I'm here and have the save open. Any thoughts on what tinkering to do in the production phase from people who haven't been contaminated by post-production-phase information? (As someone noted, Cyclone is rigged so growth gives it the production needed for its worker.)

GoW can't have landed more immortals to threaten Hurricane because their galley isn't one of the places it would have to be if they did.

We want to short rush a pike in Arashi, right?

Theseus, if we switched to a WC in Tornado, it would finish this turn on its own, but we could have a medieval infantry there next turn. (I have it down to twelve shields this turn in order to juggle the other cities and get the worker and pop growth in Cyclone, but my plan was to get it back up to 14 to finish the medieval infantry.) Until we reach a point where we feel like we have all the medieval infantry we need, I think it makes sense to keep Tornado on medieval infantry.

Amy has finally got me to agree to see Chicago, so I am outta here in a few minutes, and won't be back till around 10pm EST.

Post-production, Cats first, of course. Please make sure we end up with two each in Arashi and Tempest.

I'm OK with 4 hp vet MedInf taking on healthy Immortals on mountains, but let's not get overly aggressive... better to let Vox batter themselves agianst the GS rock a bit first.

In terms of future production, it's ime to start thinking of the counter-attack.

                            Yeaaaah, baby.

Short rush the Pike, and rush a Cat in Monsoon. The Walls in Tempest are the best bet I think, gives all our Pikes about the same status as if they would have been fortified there. We still have enough units to make sure that Vox can't take either city this next turn (and it would end the threat almost surely if they try).

We could also rush a cat or a regular WC in Monsoon for 64 gold if we want to. Vox doesn't have any troops in a position to interfere with its reaching Arashi, but a cat in Arashi wouldn't be in a position to attack. A regular WC's main purpose would be "cannon fodder" to prevent a veteran or elite WC from being forced to defend, but if it would survive, we could probably get some use out of it.
