Oedo years would be good. I don't have king and emperor handy but they were in the GL thread about oedo years if it is still in existence.

The thread is still there, but only the deity years were on the first page. King and emperor were in later pages. Unfortunately the link, in the GL, takes you to the first page but I was unable to access any later pages. If anyone can, please let me know how to confirm my stupidity.

Yes, and it went to the standard "The page cannot be found" display. But it's never a bad idea if someone else tries it, in case there are browser issues. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

And Prince would be useful too, as it is the Level that is mostly used in PBEMs...
Edit: I'm sooo stupid, OEDO would be mostly useless for PBEM are they focus on scenarii (and so different timelines...)Ankh-Morpork, we have an orangutan...

SG, I am not on my computer now, but I can post you the ofset for the turn number: the oedo year depends directly on the turn number.Civ2 "Great Library Index": direct download, Apolyton attachment

ST: and how is it in your program (yeah, I know, I should have used it... ): as charts or showing whether it's an OEDO year??
The latest would be even more useful for me, as it's independent from the timescale (and so level or scenario) chosen!Ankh-Morpork, we have an orangutan...

I believe these tables are correct:

Thanks again, guys ...
I didn't make myself clear - as the program would calculate the oedo years, what I need are the year breaks for non-deity levels ie
Deity
until 1000BC in 50 years
until 1AD in 25 years
until 1500AD in 20 years
until 1750AD in 10 years
until 1850Ad in 2 years
and every year thereafter
I suspect the answer is RTFM, but I expect more kindness from this forum

Try this on for size (years/turn):
Code:Chieftan Emperor Warlord Prince King Deity 50 60 60 60 25 40 40 40 20 250 50 75 10 50 150 50 25 5 50 50 50 2 50 50 50 50 1 150 150 150 150
... and twice for content!Last edited by DaveV; January 23, 2003, 10:40.
