You mean to tell me that science is good under the form of 'government' that put Galileo under house arrest?

Like I say, weird. Content peasantry suits me. To make 'em happy, they need reality TV, microwaves and cheap gasoline.

Can't be doing with any of that!

The campaign against Scotland has dragged into another year. Following more wargaming, the English High Command is on the brink of adopting a radical new strategy.

Dairy of Henrikus I, King of Sweethens, Goths and Vandals, Grand Duke of Finland

The year of our lord 1523:
After a minor skirmish with the burghership of Danzig concerning the payment and food supply of our troops, the Swedish troops assigned to defend the city has cut an agreement with the Danes instead.
I've assigned the my troops to hold the southward road, cutting off Danzig from the rest of Poland, denying the city fresh food supplies.
Hopefully this will result in an easier investment for the beseiging Danish troops.
The troops will be withdrawn once the city has fallen.

In the interior of my country protestant reforms are begining to be enforced and priests all over Sweden now preach in thier native tounge rather than that of the iligitimate pope in Rome.
Positive effects can allready be seen as protestant burghers from various places all over europe starts pouring into Sweden.

I am also quite happy to note the growth of the wealth reciding in state coffers, as church clocks are melted and the metall sold and the treasures of the ancient iligitimate convents is redistributed by the state.

Sorry to bump in but may I make a little suggestion:

In my opinion the red-colour for the English and the Danes is almost identical and may be confusing at the map perhaps you could make the English orange.

                        1524

The Seige of Danzig continues. We have opened the naval seige to allow Swedish ships to pass and reinforce their ranks. We ask that the passage be closed each year so as to prevent fishing ships from gaining food. We also ask ther Swedes to sperad across any terrain within Danzig's radius so as to squeeze the life out of them. We've taken the positions we need to the east and west, so you have the run of the area south of the city.

                        -KdK.

I'm not sure but I don't think ships can prevent city workers from doing thier thing...

And I'll see what I can do about the English, Galvatron, I tried to give the English and Danes distinctly different red shades, but it appears I failed then

The invincible armies of the mighty sultan have captured Heraklion, delivering the entire island of Crete into Ottoman hands. Our janissaries continue their advance up the Danube unopposed.

Well perhaps I'm colour-blind Let's ask the others what they think about it?
