    PBEMs are run in .net multiplayer format, that means that all screens automatically closes after a while (to speed up the game for the other players, which aren't there ).

    Hmmm, in my experience they do stay open as long as you do, something, relatively often though (scroll the list, for instance)...

        I figured that the advisor screen closing had to do with the fact that the game was being played as multiplayer. For me, no matter what, after a little bit the window I'm looking at will close, regardless of whether I'm scrolling or anything

                          No, Andz, the version you have, that Henrik sent you, is the same one that everyone else is using.

                          When Groth posted, in his last post, the attachment, that's your signal to download it, play your turn, and then do the same afterward or send it in an email to the next player (in this case WinterFritz), whichever method you prefer.

                            Someone could have told me.

                            BTW, there are several faults in the volga area... make:

                            zarizyn --> rostov
                            saratov --> zarizyn

                            and you should be fine

                            the game is attached.

                            I propose an all peace agreement for the first 500 years.

                              French Merchants Leave In Droves

                              French Merchants finished outfitting today and will soon be leaving their ports. Their desteny? Far away to countries unknown. Money made from these transactions will be siezed by the government and used to outfit more merchants. Hopefully they won't catch on.

                              Egypt Head of Assasination Plot!

                              Last month's assasination of French government officials have lead to deep investigations. The conspirators have not only been in North Africa, but were headed by the Sultan of Egypt! This outrage will not go unpunished! French military is heading out to take care of the Sultan to right the wrong that has been done. Anyone found helping the Sultan will really piss off the French government.

                              Bangkok Advances on Saigon!

                              Two artillery battalions have left Bangkok and are advancing on Saigon! French citizens in Saigon are advised to armthemselves against this threat as the military in the region dig fortifications out side the city. The navy is blockading Bangkok in the hopes of cutting off their army's supplies.
