I suppose we could let Stalin control the US.
They will most propably enter the war on the Entente side anyway.

Or Galv assumes their control passing control of austria to jim panse.

It is supposed to be a WW1 scenario.Although admitedly existing farms and roads should be more.
People still need farms to produce food and feed themselves. And armies need roads to move faster their troops to fight in the front.

      Well it is a democracy......
I´m criticizing the fact that many cities BEGIN the game in this conditions... how can i grow/produce/build/improve my country if my production shields are used to support so many units?
I didn´t plan that... it´s not a consequence of my strategy, decissions, behaviour in the game.

Again, this is just my point of view

Yes but how could one forbid these engineers build new cities?
Actually i NEVER build anything but units and roads in scenarios(barracks and city walls too-sometimes) so i can not be objective in this one.
I fail to see why someone would bother building farmlands in a war scenario.
I mean, i don't even build hapiness improvements i just let cities starve.

As for the support thing i can see your point.Perhaps if some American units had NONE as their home city.

I've no problem with that, but wouldn't controlling so many(and large) civs become a bit tedius for him?

If he agrees, i agree too.

I looked at the US-side of the world and I've agree with academia on some points. The 60 cost for Inf is a little bit too high and look at US-city Wilmington:
All ships are homed to the port and the city only has one shield left. It's common practise for scenarios to give the start-units a "NONE" so the player has full control over what to build.

I agree with Palaiologos that Engineers aren't really necessary it's a war game and Engineers would take up one unit slot but in my opinion the cities would need more irrigation as above all the Austrian cities are close to starvation (only one or even none food left) and perhaps some mines to boost industry.

It's a good scen and with these changes it would be even better

Jup clear because the creator himself is out of town but of course we can continue this turn how it is now and maybe Stefan can make the changes when he returns I'm sure one or two turns won't do much harm.

Oh and I declare that I'm completely confused now Who is who? after so much changes and proposals to changes Perhaps someone could post a new and updated playerlist. Or it is just me that can't follow this one, me and my addled brain

Thing is Galvy that if the changes happen, we must start a new game.

As for who is who there are not any changes.
Apart form Academia leaving the USA, that is.

But if existing infastructure is improved, units get a NONE home city, swiss army becomes a trade unit then these changes wil NOT be included in our current saved game.

Apart from the Swiss borders being guarded by elite merchant units that is.
