Action report for Nov

The germans enter the salient and get killed.

23! Pz III's sneaking though the forest get blown away by a pe2 bomber who finds them all lined up.

Gomel and Bryansk reinforced by the belorussian salient. (who said they wern't worth defending

Fortress spots near Vitesbsk reinforced due to rumours from many who think it should be abandended via a secret poll, I choose to ignore it and fight on, not a step back comrades.

Next turn is winter plan to build a few cities in the salient to get more red guards per turn.

Minsk could be taken in winter as long as I get the airport in Smolensk rush built and Stalins organs flown in.

I also plan to built a city during winter in the priparyt marshes to house our valient partisans who are there. (gomel to rush buy a labor bridage this turn marshal please)

2 Are ready this turn (DEC) but should you get them or Leningrad? Eliminating the Narva threat is a top priority.

Good job on this front especially nailing the foolish stacked up Panzers. I believe the Nazi's must have been hudddling together for warmth. I hope they freeze during our wonderful Russian Winter.

if we can hold vitebsk and smolensk it will be more than excellent, the units needed to retake minsk will be more necessary in the leningrad area, just IMHO

maybe winter 43 as a scout plan reports over 30 divisions around minsk not to mention the probable 20 inside, I suggest to everyone don't build kayusha's build KV1's and AA's instead, the germans will hit hard in summer 42 it aint over by a long shot. My salient needs reinforcements with good defences if its going to hold next summer. Some cities down to 2 divisions.

I agree Katyusha's were built for the early winter to Facilitate Facist Hunting. Now we need more defensive units, I will ensure that is what the Armaments minister is building out east!

Action Plan for Jan 1942 ---> end winter

Build a city in the priparyt basin on river/forest for +100% def in summer!

Clear german units away from the current salient and hold it!

Will not attempt to take Minsk until winter 43 at earliest.

Build 1-2 new cities on rivers/forests in the salient for more red guards per turn.

Reinforce all my cities for german attacks in summer 42 (some with only 2 units in them!)

Uncover some hidden terrain improvments in the salient.


What do you think about building a city north of Vietbsk near the minefield?

Where (screenshot please) is it a good defensive location? Will it help to continue hindering German spawning and infiltration just to the north of Vitebsk?
