Order of Nevsky Awarded
or serving as the lead spearhead of the Belorussian Army group in the drive on Potsdam and the capture of Adolf Hitler, Lt V. Kotov of C Company, 3rd Battalion of the 259th Tank Regiment is awarded the order of Alexander Nevesky. Comrade General Pavlov Zangalis is authorized to wear the medal in Lt. Kotov's stead as the overall front Commander. Awarded this 4th of August, 2003.
