November 1947: It is a time of Civil War...

The year is 1947, the United Nations General assembly hasjust voted for the partitition of Palestine in two states,one jewish and one arab. Finally, after two thousand years of exile, the jewish people will have a country again, in their own land. But the Arabs of Palestine rejected the UN plan.

A civil war begins, in which each side tries to gain ascendancy. The British declare they will withdraw by May, 1948.

I loaded the game on Deity level, and it's the modified scenario Yaroslav provided. It immediatly asked me what technology to research, and I decided on British Training. (Both British training, and it's alternative, Pioneer Spirit, need to be researched before we can proceed to other technology. British Training gives us Palmach units). In the future, it will be the responsibility of the economic minister to decide which technology we should research

As a sign of the Govvernment's popularity, We love the Prime Minister Day celebrated in Kafer Szold and Mishmar Yarden. I ask the generals not to allow these brave Israeli's to be overrun.

Jewish Communities abroad donate 3,000 shekels.

Except for Econ and COS part II, any other minister or general may download the save and play their turn. Just post on this thread "taking the Save" when you are ready to play, and then post the file.

Each minister and general should create their own thread that focues on their specific area. On those threads detailed reports will be given of what happened, as well as discussions over future policy.

Post any questions here, since I believe some of you are new to actual Democracy games.

Everyone, we have a big problem. The Arab spies. If we don't take them out, we have no chance of winning. I was playing a bit in single player and they bribed Eilat and the northern cities in the Galilee, thereby taking over important defences I set up in single player. If we don't take out the Arab spy units, then we're just going to lose all the important defences we set up. I didn't think they would be such a big problem earlier, and I just got into the game enough to see it happen.

The Econ minister should run polls to determine the next tech we research.

So Econ minister you need to see what will be available next, tell us what those techs do and then set up a poll.

Interesting idea. But how would we get technology for Palmach, IDF infantry, tanks, and even Mossad units without research? We can't even steal technology from the Arabs or the British because we don't start with Mossad units.

A temporary sacrifice for the good of Israel. It's no good to have a horde of spies with no city defenses.

we should also rush some production buildings and some units , especially in those town there is only one or no unit at all , .....
