Eh, my vote ought to be obvious.

I would prefer to bribe East Jerusalem, except that the city is the Palestinian capital.

As for the settlements, some of the cities in Galilee are defensible, but many in the desert are not. I feel that to spend money to increase the garrison is just not worth it when we need to protect ourselves on so many fronts.

I also propose that we leave Gaza to the Palestinians, yet pillage the roads to delay the advance of Egyptian units along the coast.

      Win some, loose some.
East Yerushalem and the arabs around it can be overcome, use some artillery on them and try to hold your ground as long as possible untill you can buy new units overseas.

          To ALCON

We have had a few folks join us in the past few days.

As they decide their party affiliation I'm asking the party leaders to make sure that they update there membership at their party threads.

So we can determine how many we have vs how many votes we got.

After the formation of the Government, it might be a good idea to have the President (or whoever in the cabinet) be responsible for a "Membership" thread, listing all who are participating, there job and party affiliation. Similar to the party thread in the RF Demo game. (Im also putting this in the government threads)

Welcome to the party. Though to be clear, you need only say you voted, not who you voted for. Nevertheless, it is appreciated.

I would prefer everyone to actually vote in the elections for something worthwhile. Though I guess I could have been more crafty, created a banana option, and hope that the others in the other parties would have voted for it.

              Also.
              1. What if the banana party won a seat.
              2. What if someone decides to seriously start a banana party?

There is no need to hide the vote from my side.
This way the people in game are sure who voted for what, its clear this way.

There are 18 votes, and only 15 democracy game members. Even assuming for Panag/Sabra, something isn't right.

Ok, now I am very suspiscious. My party has 10 votes. Even assuming Panag/Sabra, that leaves 8 other votes, meaning 3 people I don't know about voted. That's fine, I welcome votes for my party. But remember, you must post in the thread that you at least voted for a "party." We currently have only 15 members "total" in this thing, yet around 19 votes. I realize people may not have joined the civ-group, but we need to clear this up.

Unfortunately, we may need to have the elections again to straighten all this out.

I talked with Emu. Elections are not being postponed.

We both realize there are many suspiscious votes, unfortunately most of them for my party.
If someone from the outside is trying to rig this, please stop.
However, I also noticed some new people on the forum, and I don't want to disenfranchize them. But please post here that you voted, it helps us keep track.

Unless the "disputed" votes become enough to change the seat composition in the knesset (and so far it hasn't), we can easily continue.

We should do voting in the following way: You have the poll thread, with a poll, but you make 1 (ONE) post after you vote, quoting your vote. No other posts allowed. When the polling is 'closed' whoever is head of Knesset at that time declares the results (it might not be necessary to go 'manual recount' if the number of electors registered in the thread matches the number of votes in the poll. But if that does not match, well, we go manual.

The idea would be to keep the poll thread CLEAR of any other rubbish and spam, so that whoever is doing manual recounts isn't screwed over having to wade through tides of 'spam' to count up twenty votes over six pages of thread.
