    Kill, pillage,burn


    No use for distant cities suffering enormous corruption. Attack, and if the city dies, so be it.

      Yes, they will couse more unhappyness then they are worth in trade or production.

        While having Kyoto wiped off the map would not displease me, I would prefer if we were able to take the city and add it to our growing empire (and use it as a staging area to take whatever Japanese cities remain). As for the corruption and waste, I think that even if the city has high production and waste, as long as it is self sustaining, that it is a good addition to our empire, and will eventually be joined by other cities, bridging the gap.

          I tend to agree. We won't be in Monarchy forever - so corruption won't always be (as big) a problem.

          Also, IIRC we decided to limit the number of cities we built. Capturing cities is the only way to grow our empire once we hit the city limit.
