Yes, Honghu might be a n00b, but I still have close to 2.3K posts in a little over a year.

Plus I post mainly OT now, so my ppd would be far higher if I did not.

Oh yeah swearing off OT is definitely key to getting post count up, assuming you have a RL "life".

I note Jamski is posting in OT, now that hes made deity.

Anyone with a 21st century reg date is a n00b.

And remember when you were new here?

Yeah... but at that time there wasn't a unified OT. I was in the CTP forums, talking about how the game was going to suck (I was right), and then went to their OT to debate how communist sucks. A few months after that the Civ OT and CTP OT merged.

Yep. Then Markos decided to combine them. I think it was 2 years later (or so) when he decided that post counts in the one OT shouldn't count.

Were there any major difference between the two?

Never heard about having two different OT's on 'Poly either... When was that?
This space is empty... or is it?

Well, they weren't called OTF's... However, Both Civ and CTP had "general" forums, which were pretty much about as off topic as you can get. Political discussion ruled the game general forums... and that's what lead to the creation of the OTF... to get all that stuff out of the gaming forums. And it was kind of a "shot gun wedding" because there was very little crossover between the Civ and CTP communities. So when the OTF started, it was a forced mixing of two very different communities.

This is becoming a particularly delicious kind of spam. Posts in OTC do not count; but +1's can be had for institutional memory about OTC in this forum.

Is there any actual reason that posts here count, but not ones in the OTF?
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?
