So you admit responsibility for the dotcom crash? Do you happen to know what a class action is?

He doesn't even know what class is...
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

        DC,
Well, I gave you 32 chances
        ha ha
        thanks- I appreciate your efforts!

But your info *can* be used to fill some gaps in my charts (the 9k date and 2k/3k/4k). Where did you get that data anyway? Forums and news are pretty useless for pre-2000 and AFAIK you yourself weren't around yet in '99...
To get the usernumber information, I just typed in random numbers in the User Profile numbers until I found the dates and numbers that I wanted

As for the dates of the releases of games- I did some research!

Anyway, what did you use as trendline? I couldn't get any type of trend to look good (floating average was close, but was basically a copy of the existing graph, only slightly smoother)...
I used a 'polynomial trendline, of course

I will attach the Growth rate and the Time to reach Milestone charts again with DC's data incorporated:
Thanks- your new charts look GREAT!
I really like the one that incorporates the dates of the games' releases!

That one gives great insight into why apolyton grew when it did!

My trendline is quite accurate, however, Number 30,000 registered the day after my predicted day- (now I just have to figure out how to attach the file )

The line predicted the 24th-26th... and number 30K registered on the 25th of march

Very surprised there's no "33000 Members" thread yet.

            Edit: I see there is...

12 days! - the least descriptive milestone thread ever.

Ming must have thought it was a Christmas thread and deleted it.

Really? I don't remember it being any different than the usual milestone threads..............though there have been a lot lately, so maybe 2 active ones is too many.

But it was the newer one!

You would think that the 32,000 thread would be closed once the 33,000 thread came along if one of them had to go.

                          I agree.

Tbh I think threads only disappear when something gets posted to warrant the deletion (and I've been away so I have no idea what)............if Ming/Mark thought the thread was just superfluous they usually would just close it rather than delete it.

I blame Skanky for the other thread's disappearance.

And in case you were curious, that thread was not moved to the staff forum, away from prying eyes.

Someone should post another 33000 users thread just to make sure that everyone gets to congratulate Apolyton.
