OK, I've set it up....

Turn 2102 (yes I needed two turns to set up the AI) is on its way to Mr blockhead.

The map is really average, so no complaints about unfairness. If either of you get thrashed, then it's not the maps fault. Most AI is set to be your friends, apart from Miriam (surprise)

No passwords yet, simply type in your own when you get the turn for the first time.

And tell me, so I can check up on your progress.

OMG... I'm sorry I missed all this. Blockhead... that's a pretty appropriate name. I can only hope your posts were intended as a troll. I'm very rusty having not played in well over a year, but I'm tempted to get in on this game but with school and work, I don't think I would be able to play fast enough for you; however, you probably wouldn't like going up against a real player anyway.

I know I should just leave it alone, but it's hard to when someone spouts such ridiculous drivel.

Excelling at SMAC requires intelligence and strategy. It's been a long time since I've seen nonsense like this here, but I'll tell you where I have seen it... at the Diablo 2 forums. Blockhead, no hacked item or uber character is going to help you here and I think you're in for a giant shock if you seriously think you can win against a good player w/o building roads.

P.S. Stupid question since I skimmed through some of this. Is this game a PBEM, since I thought blockhead didn't consider that to be real multiplayer?

Bad move not setting CMN passwords. For someone so insecure as BH, he'll set his own, play the turn then pass it on. Then he'll replay his turn but open Flubber's to see where his starting location is.

Oh - and here's a link to the IP Players directory - funny I don't see Blockhead there - but I do see Aredhran, Jimmytrick, LoD, Mamajom et al (to name but a few) - I guess Blockhead has made mincemeat of these SMAC/X legends too in his fantasy world.
