  • They wanted to give us comlink +IA for foil and Biogentics. That is not going to happen, and I suspect that they are trying to offer Hive comlink.

    • OK, that's fine. Your post in the diplo thread seemed to indicate you were still expecting a commlink. Nonetheless, the deal is still pretty damn good. Bird in the hand....

      • They inquired what comlink are we looking for. I suspect they have Hive comlink and tehy are being sneaky.

        • Ah, I see. Well in that case, are we just about ready to play the turn? The last few questions might need answering I suppose.

          • I guess everything can be played except units on Angel teritory. They are polling about the trade, and they claim they will have an answer about 6 hours before our deadline.

            • For what it's worth, if we pop any pods or increase our tech allocation any, we'll have our next tech next turn.

              • Interesting. Let's say that we increase allocation and they agree to trade us technology. What will happen - will we get IA before trade comes into account, or will first get IA, then redirect to Bio and get it on the same turn?

                  • So, we're ready as Angels have agreed to a deal:
                    EDITED:
SL + Rover + BioGen (or other which they'd choose) for IA (look at diplocontact vs DA thread)

                    • Ok, they accepted, and want us to know that in case we cannot choose Biogenetics we should choose Doctrine Mobility.

                          • If CT doesn't show up in two hours, I will play it. BTW I asked Angels if we can remove fungal tower for them.

                              • Just met the Hive, as described in the appropriately named thread. I'm suspending playing the turn for ~1 hour, to allow people to chime in on any last-minute changes to the turn plan.
