Partially played turn - I did not hurry or touch formers (except the obvious build road movement). Probe moved north to fungus, MW NE on the river - no sign of rogue mindworm. YOungest MW poped the pod - producing a MW . Captura attempt failed too, but we got a couple of more EC. Oh, with last quarter of movement the youngest MW was moved north revealing end of fungus and some rainy squares. Rover boarded Unity Foil. SL moved along the river to the east. Unity Rover in NewMuirland moved along the river then north. Spore launcher mover SE than E (yes, the fungul tower spawned a fungus square making this possible) - revelaing that fungal tower now has at least three surrounding fungus squares. Of things to do is - hurry production, designate orders for formers and decide what we SL in Angel teritory. Oh and smacksim please tell me what do you seee when you open the SE settings. Every time I open the SE panel the settings show that we are in simple economy and clicking on planned shows refund- +24 credits but no changes. When I close the SE and open it again we are again on simple economics. Am I nuts or is this some kind of bug? Are we in planned or not?

So I need someone to look at partially palyed turn and tell me if they are experiencing the same thing, and if we are in planned and what are our total credits.SMAC/X FAQ | Chiron Archives

That sounds very strange. I'll check it out. Formers were to build roads and clear a path to uranium flats and other areas of expansion, along with starting a few forests. I think we might particularly want to clear some pathways to the ruins, which means moving a defender over there in case of worms. All the more reason to see if we can get the angels to bump our explorer crew home without using the foil. The foil will be busy with the rover and then probe team and then probably a worm....
I'll check the turn and the SE settings.

Played the turn. Did not encounter any SE problems like you mention. It sounds also like the game thinks you are at another difficulty level '24 ECs' == Thinker, I think. Here's a screen of my SE switching. It came up as Planned, which I'll need to switch back to at end of turn (Don't Forget to Do This if you play my presend save!)
I realize that if we use my turn we've played part of the turn twice, but your turn seems corrupted, or your version of SMAX. There is nothing else we could have done. I hope the Gods will accept this! I'll upload the presend to the proper thread and upload more pictures to the 2135 thread. In an hour I'll post the turn to the ACDG if we are o.k. with this....

Like I said, I'm going to finish the turn now and upload. We are too close to the deadline to try to fix your bug Illuminatus. You'd better do a re-install or at least trash your alphacentauri.ini file and see if you can fix it that way....

Oh, could you rename this thread 2134 and 2135? I've already uploaded the pictures here....Aldebaran 2.1 for Smax is in Beta Testing. Join us for our first Succession Game

This is strange because a) I never play on thinker. Ermm Smacksim, how about using my partially played turn above and checking if it is corrupt? You haven't downloaded it yet, and this is border action at best.SMAC/X FAQ | Chiron Archives
