So that's decided - 3 votes out from 4 active players against "Foil to North" and 1 vote for it!

We are can traverse the sea and transport units, Angels can't . Sound like kind of supremacy to me . Until someone comes up with Iods/Gunships or that sort.

One question - there is a probe near our Unity Rover - there is great possibility that probe has encountered Unity Rover -perhaps even subverted it. Question is, what if they subvert it (although highly unlikely). Also I checked presend - there was a treaty proposed and alleged message sent to turn player - why is this nowhere mentioned, even in the turn reports? I wondered about this for some time.

I forgot to mention that in the turn report, though I have now posted about it in the diplo contact thread. I guess I figured the discussion in the diplo contact thread was sufficient.

If we do not send our foil north, where do we send it?

Based on the message back from the Angels, they probably found our rover, but very likely did not subvert it. That would be a pretty hostile action anyway, and an entirely unnecessary one, given the proposal to treaty.

Perhaps the Foil could transport one of units to the shore north we discovered? It would certainly speed up our discovery of Yang.

I can't open the picture with Paint, and my Photochop is currently down. But anyways, we might want to take a look at where to move our northern forces. Anyone care to make some arrows and or plans?

The turn could come any time. Does anyone have any opinions about the northern units?

                  My suggestions:

Try to move the probe team through the fungus, if a worm, kill with our worm, if not, move our worm onto rocky river to chase the wild one down.

Other, younger worm, pop the pod to the far north.

                  Rover board unity foil.

That leaves two open ground pods unpopped, but I figure we can bring the worms around to get them after checking our northern border. Also, I'd prefer sending a worm over the water, but the rover is in position now. We could take 2 turns and get the younger worm in position, which is fine with me too.

It's pod city up there. What a bonanza.

                    • I'm going to sleep pretty soon, and then I'll be out for the weekend. Besides, we need to figure out what to do in Angel territory. I say we batter down the fungal tower, take the pod, then retrieve our units. As far as diplomatic communication, I like to keep it to a minimum, both in length and in actual information content.

                      • I can play the turn anytime. It looks like we are waiting for a decision r/e a diplomatic statement. If Octavian writes something up, I think we are ready to go.... I take it we've been sending diplomacy through PMs to GeoModder? I will wait till I hear about the diplomacy from at least Octavian or Illuminatus. Everyone else, please make suggestions r/e the turn. There is a time limit.

                        • Seems Octavian is nowhere to be seen. Okay, I can write something up - but we meed to agree what to exactly do in Angel teritory then? Also, what do we really want to send Angels - Okay, we will withdraw ourselves, blah, blah. We can't pop the pod this turn anyway, but we could move units so they are ready to pop the pod next turn.

                          • And we have about 14 hours to do everything . I am not even sure we have agreed on anything - Unity Rover being loaded and transported by Unity Foil sounds good. But what with the rover and MWs in north - I see no proposal where to move them - I guess smacksims idea is then alright? Also, we have enough credits to hurry a thing or two - are we saving or not? If not why not hurry a thing or two? I guess rover in Angel teritory should go along the river then north on rocky square - Spore Launcher - SE then E? C'mmon people, we got job to do, and so little time!

                            • We have a policy for rushing things, ie, our probe teams....see CT's posts about that over the last few turns. We rush for last row or last 2 rows (possibly, if rich). We do have 1 turn to decide how to move our units in Angel territory. Suggest minimal message with a note saying "team on vacation, will be more detailed next time" or something. I have to get to sleep now. Play the turn if you like, Illuminatus. I'll be back in 10 hours....

                              • Still need some things to be discussed.I can see four formers that will need additional orders-one north of DoG, two betwwen FT and TFP, and one that will finnish clearing the fungus. First three need orders, while the last one can start the road I guess.
