• The two formers next to EM try to construct a road in time to save a turn for the founding of a base (EM-cp).
• Hurried production of both KC and EM. Drones riots are avoided in KC that way.
• SE slider is now 30/10/60, research is finished one turn faster then.
• Rover and KC scout are both on the monolith tile blocking the Hive Synth.
• Formers near RPS moved to their respective nut tile for road construction.
• Damaged Hive Scout spotted on landbridge to the Hive, appearantly a mindworm was active in the area.
• Our territorial limits are about discovered. We're isolated save for that landbridge to the Hive.

if scout enters it, then synth may be north on base site 1 or north east in fungus - the only possible tiles he may go.

2133 turnreport

• The Gaians have found us. Their Spore Launcher on 28.62 (east of RPS) must have established contact. I changed course of probe 101 accidently and found a rover on 28.74, I think this rover must have popped the pod east for that one is gone since this turn (last turn it was still present, so that's weird with distance from it's present location, perhaps another Gaian unit nearby?). This proves that the Gaians have Doc:Flex for sure!! Btw, they sended a pré-accepted Treaty proposal to us, I can't check on tech acquisition thus. Someone...?
• The landbridge to the Hive is literally cursed!! I tried to move probe 111 in the fungus there again and this time a native Spore Launcher appeared. It looks like the Gaians are ATM our only ticket to Doc:Flex
• Was lucky with the EM cp. It's last 1/3 movement brought it on it's present location. One turn sooner a new base!
• KC cp on it's way north.
• Rover on it's way in the fungus as Mart proposed.
• Hurried the cp production of SH with all our ec's (12). I think it is paramount to cover our whole territory ASAP now. Founding of a base on the 'SH pod?' tile should do the trick neatly.
• Moved the former near KC to KP-EM and started a farm there.
• Moved a former to the north end of the Canyon for road building to start with.

• Check on the positions of the Gaian units. They're quite wide spread, so two transports must be active on their side...
• Undecided on the former southeast of EM. Help in the south for our soon to come base or help between EM and KP?
• How do we respond on the Gaian Treaty proposal? I start making a friendly response anyway and post it in the diplomacy plug-in thread.

I checked Gaian techs, they do not have IndAuto. Maybe trade for Doc:Flex? They do not have hive comm either.

hive synth might retreat. If not maybe probe team might approach from north and make passage for colony pod. my calculations show that colony pod would have to wait only 1 additional turn.

I will accept the Gaian Treaty proposal and post the turn then.

I think with the rather quick processing of this turn that the other two teams won't be suspicious of diplomatic contacts.

Edit: Turn update.

• Accepted a Treaty with the Gaians.
• Tinkered (again) with the econ/lab output. We're now at 40/0/60 with an annual income of 10 ec's, research rate of 9 years and present one is finished within 5 years (was 6 years before the change).

I made a mistake when opening the turn (clicking 'save and exit' instead of 'enter') and all unit movements were blocked when I finally got the turn open.

• That's pretty it. Nothing more interesting happened... as I recall

Please, review orders for units, colony pods and formers.

Issues

• If rover enters fungus next to hive synth, can it provoke Yang to attack?
• Also, North most Probe team could allow for pod to move towards its base site. Three movement turns are drawn
• No imminent drone riots it seems
• All bases apart from RPS are doing supply crawlers now. SH just started the 4th one. Keep it that way?

To answer your questions:
- No, moving in the fungus would no provoke Yang for the simple reason we are on our own territory.
- Probe 111 (northern one) is good on that course IMO, else we're stuck on that monolith if Yang keeps on blocking...
- Yes, keep any free base on crawler production.
- I'm not so sure about a sensor between EM and SH. Perhaps too soon but if you feel it's necessary, go ahead. My intention was aiding in farm+solar construction on that former on the west or when the KP crawler is finished.

Edit: not really necessary of course, but it might be wise that I post the Morgan turn (Mart forwarding it to me) to avoid questions by other factions.
