I beg to differ! The Hive assumes a mass ideology, where each human is only an insignificant bee of - as their faction name says - a large and unpersonal hive. Instead, a true Spartan is an individualist at heart, and our society allows the talented individual to rise and earn their rightful place in the organization of our faction.

          • Control of the masses is quite possible through well-honed computers... if that is what 'hackers' choose to do!

If you don't see this at the top of this page (which IIRC you won't unless you use a Special or Ultra-Special forum style -> see top left of the main forum page for forum styles) click on the "civgroups" link somewhere at the top center of this page. There you see a list of all civgroups, among others Sparta.

Having done this, please send a Private Message to Skanky Burns. He's the one who authorizes people here.

              Hope you enjoy your stay!
As one can see from my transmission earlier, my decision pends the responses from the officers of each faction. I have received one response thus far and will continue to wait until all are received or I grow impatient. It would be a shame if my decision is made by default.

Your tutorial is appreciated, but I have not yet heard from Googlie. Is he not your leader? Should my questions be redirected to Skanky Burns instead?

Your retort is acknowledged. The intent of my comment was to state that Sparta shares more similarities with the Hive than any other faction. However, based on the evidence you have provided, one may suggest that your individualism and focus on the "earning a rightful place" would be very similar to the beliefs of Morgania. It is seriously doubtful that any Spartan would want to be compared to a Morgainite.

Don't mistake personal freedom with personal luxuries.
                  Seriously. Kung freaking fu.

                  • Indeed! It is only too easy to become a slave of luxuries...

Well we don't really have a single leader. Colonel Santiago is in coma, Major Skanky Burns is our Quartermaster, Googlie Colonel and Commander of Crypteia (intelligence agency), I also Colonel and Commander of the Spartan Kel (Killer Elite Laconians), Modo Commander of the Navy, Lt-Col Kassiopeia Chief Diplomat, and so on...
Didn't you receive a PM from Snoddasmannen though?

You got that right! While in Sparta people earn their rightful place through by using their talents and hard work, in Morgania they get it by being born in a wealthy family.

Oh. How do you call your continent then? I usually refer to it as Morgania.

                          • Our continent is Terrapeso, originally Peso Peninsula. But we as a company people like to be referred to as "the Corporation".

This one is even more funny than Morgania!

                              Though more original!
