Encouraged by Jamski's delight, the cats wailed harder, but suddenly there was a hush as a solo cat wailed in the moonlit night singing about their existence in life and the joy of acceptence by Jamski.

Moved by the beautiful tune Mrs Jamski came out to see who was singing and she was not dissappointed for she found that the solo cat had a face of Comrade Vev.

The poor mutant Vev/Cat hybrid was too genetically unstable to live and halfway though a beautiful rendition of the love duet (singing both parts) from the second act of Richard Wagner's Tristan und Isolde it suddenly contracted an insanely fast speading cancer which killed it in seconds, and made a mess of the carpet.
