  • US Units Vietnam War

Hi! I'm new to this forum. Here's some US units for the Vietnam War that I've edited (most of the original author's names are still there).
    From left to right:
Top Row: 1st AirCav with M14; 1st AirCav with M16; 1st AirCav with M60; USMC with M14; USMC with M16; USMC with M60; US Army with M14; US Army with M16; US Army with M60
Bottom Row: Green Beret; Studies and Observation Group (SOG); Marine Force Recon; Rangers; Airbourne; 1st AirCav Commander; USMC Commander; US Army Commander; General Westmoreland.
They're my first go at anything like this, so, they're not that good.

      • Very nice.

But the Studies and Observation unit has a MACV shield, which was its parents organisation. MACV SOG's had a skull with a green beret on it.

                • I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. I need a pioneer unit (sort of combat engineers), and I need a way to distinguish them from standard Heer infantry. I was thinking something on the shield, but I cannot find any Pioneer symbol.
