    • this will be four in a row.... how many before I get banned?

seeing FMK's SU76 reminded me of my own feeble attempt at Nemo-modding, a Crusader MkIII I did about 6 months ago. Maybe someone can tart it up and make it presentable.

      • Oh the madness!

Instead of studying for my exam tomorrow, I played around a bit in PSP. Here's the tragic result.

From left to right: Sweet relief for our boys, a British Para from ww2, 82nd AB and an AB recon jeep. I didn't add my sig because I really didn't change much and it all looks like crap anyway.

Yeah, Moe, that team sure did suck last night. They just plain sucked! I've seen teams suck before, but they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.

edit: it looks good, pretty scary.

              • Here is a Nemoesque Sturmmorser Tiger that I found on the net. Anyone want to have a go at resizing and recolouring this unit in line with the other tanks.

[edit] Arrggghh, why aren't my attachments showing up as pictures???? Well, I've tried a second time adding my recolouring attempt of the 88mm tank gun.

[EDIT] [EDIT] Gee I'm such a idiot

                Ta da......

                  • I was out of town for a while (no computer etc.). Here is what i've been working on, though: a generic PZL 11/24, a Polish PZL 11c and export PZL 24's: Greek, Turkish and Axis (Romanian and Bulgarian). US naval fighters (F3F Wildcat, F6F Hellcat and a F4U Corsair) I drew today. A P40 Tomahawk, a Fiat CR42 and a Gloster Gladiator moded from old nemo designs, an improved sm79, an Aichi D3A Val dive bomber (Japanese). Last but not least, greek infantry: regular (WWII) and light (WWII,Balkan wars/WWI, 19thc).

                    • Plus this early war (production 1937-1942) F2A Brewster Buffalo. A weak plane, that was beaten to pulp by the formidable zero.It was used by the USN, the RAF, the British navy, Finland and the Netherlands (in the east Indies).

                      • French WWII Fighters!!!(and Bombers!)

I originally wanted to paint just the Bloch and the Potez but I got carried away and painted the entire family. I started with cpt. Nemo's MS 406 in the middle and turned out:

a)This Dewoitine D.520, France's best fighter in the war (it outshot Nazi fighters 2:1). Luftwaffe resumed its production after the fall of France and turned these fighters to its allies (Italy, Bulgaria and Romania) after 1943. Ploesti raids, anyone? It survived the war to ecquip the free French at 1945.
b)This Bloch 152. Just average. 153 ended in Luftwaffe and 20 in Romanian service. Greece had ordered 25 and got 9 before the war. Much better than the PZL though.
c)Nemo's Morane Saulnier 406. Numerous but hopeless as a fighter. Switzerland and Finland got some. Some Finnish planes even got better Soviet engines (captured).
d)Potez 63, mediocre long range fighter. It looked so much like the Me 110 it suffered from friendly fire! Pre-war Greece and Romania ordered and got a few(11 & 21).
                        e) Potez 63.11 Light bomber version of the above, the most numerous one(900). It fought mostly for the Lufwaffe.
f)Sncase LeO 451, Medium bomber. An excelent bomber. It flew for Arme de l'air, Luftwaffe& Reggia Aeronautica (captured a/f) RAF & USAF (escaped a/f) as a bomber and transport plane. My favourite.

Let the battle for France begin!

                        • Thanks, I really appreciate it.

About the Blenheim and the Beaufighter, what about these that Case included in his wonderful "Battle of Australia" scenario (he won't mind, will he?)?He has drawn the Beaufort (looks like just a Blenheim Mk IV) and credits cpt. Nemo for the Beaufighter and the Wellington. By the way, where did you get these two Case? I had not seen them anywhere before BoAus. The Blenheim Mk I is from cpt. Nemo's Blitz scenario.

Btw, all except for the Beau have flown in Greek service, but it too operated in the Aegean especially during the battle of the Dodecanese (when Italy "switched sides" although it wasn't anything like "cpt. Corelli's Mandolin" movie stuff).

Now the one British medium bomber missing is the Hampden...

From a compelation that Nemo put out, and I've attached to this post

BTW, the Beaufort was a modified Blenheim.

                                I'm a Chieftain now!
More Pacific WW II theatre units I made last night, to mark the occasion. From left to right:
                                1. US Navy bombers/ torpedo planes:
                                a) Douglas SBD Dauntless dive bomber (p. 1940/44) also used by France and New Zealand.
                                b) Grumman TBF Avenger torpedo plane (p. 1942/45) also used by the British navy and others.
                                c) Curtiss SB2C Helldiver dive bomber (p. 1942/45)
(I 've climbed on a Helldivers wing, when it was a public exhibit of the Athens Military Museum in the early 80's, and I was a tiny toddler) If I ever make that Greek civil war 1944-49 scenario...
                                2. Japanese fighters and bombers
                                a) Mitsubishi A5M "Claude", Zero's predecessor (37/41)
                                b) Aichi D3A "Val", painted green (more realistic)(36/44)
                                c) Nakajima B6N Tenzan "Jill" torpedo plane (43/44?)- looks like the B5N too (a day that will live in infamy...).
                                d) Nakajima C6N Saium "Myrt" naval Recon plane, related to the previous plane, much faster though.
                                e) Mitsubishi Ki 21 "Sally" Japan's main bomber during the first half of the war (production 1937/44)
                                Production dates in the brackets.
                                I know,
                                I'm doing a Ki-45 Toryu now
