popped two huts- a horseman and a tech. Still no sign of the Barbs.
Plat you are supposed to play your turn, then press ctrl-n before pressing enter(to end your turn), center on an unexplored region and save. Not start my turn and then save immediately. I(or the next player in line) will press enter for you.
I don't particularily mind if you view my units and cities but some do.

there must be something going on in my pc that I cant figure out
I did play my turn and I did ctrl-n in a dark area
maybe I should not get involved
I don't doubt you did dude. But then you pressed enter to pass your turn. You are supposed to only press ctrl-n and save WITHOUT ending your turn.

3 civs + 3 saves played, the last save is attached.
tsk...tsk...you forgot the Hittites. So my previous turn is still the record at four.
Hittites popped a couple of huts for cash and a tech (strange picture-like etchings on the walls of abandoned caves).
I suspect ST will agree with me that it's becoming awkward for the same player to do both the Greeks and the Minoans. If Straybow won't take over his assigned country , maybe someone else should step in for either the Greeks or the Minoans next time either ST or I aren't available.
Volunteers?
Straybow? You're clearly the best solution.
Oops almost forgot - got a message that a storm was sweeping down out of the Zagros, let us know who gets hit. And whether you get to see the devestation! I suspect the barbie movement/combat already happened and we may only get to see the aftermath in hotseat mode...which kinda sucks actually.
Pal, I think the earliest I've seen barbs is turn 12 or 13, so we've at least a few more turns before Armageddon hits. I have seen a hut-barbie or two, though.
Plat, it sounds like you did it almost perfectly, except for the extra "Enter". Time to try again. Just remember to Ctrl-N, center on black, and save after you move but before pressing the final turn-incrementing "Enter". We're pretty sure that it's best to briefly glimpse the previous player's turn rather than glimpse the subsequent player's turn, while you engage in a save - but that's one of the things we're trying to assess.
1.Start the game
2.Select "Game" from the upper options tab.
3.Then "game options"
4.Then click on "always wait at end of turn"
Voila!

Hmm. We need to get the game going again. If nobody else plays first, I will play Babs, Assyria + Egypt tonight.
Platypus - If ever you can't play a turn, please leave Pal a clear message, so he doesn't wait on you. But it sounds like he solved your problem (and I suggested the same thing earlier). Why don't you try again ?
I planned on playing both Babylon and Assyria today.
I just gave Plat a day.
