Good idea, I think I'll add in prisons as forts to occupy chokepoints on the map.

The Spaceship DLL is indeed editable, though not to the extent that would be ideal.

In short, the sprites size and location of appearance are mostly fixed. Fortunately the structure elements at least give a good deal of leeway and file size.

Have you used the green header strip to hide the spaceship's name or have you figured out a way to edit the name out by text- or hex-editing?

Changing the line in Game.txt doesn't seem to do anything. So I use the green bar.

Question about the RECIEVEDTECHNOLOGY trigger. If JUSTONCE is not used, will a unit be created every turn after a technology is recieved?

Been doing some playtesting. For some reason none of the RECEIVEDTECHNOLOGY triggers are working. Any possible explanations?

First off I was wondering why there is no *.scn file. Did you forget to make one?

Concerning these non working events: Looking at your rules file I "discovered" you wrote notes next to techs, improvements, units & terrains. I was once notified that this is something you'd better not do - for the number of letters in the Rules file is also somehow counted.

I cannot state if this is true - I can only think of a similar problem I had when I had these big rules files.

I think you should ask this question to some people who know more about the secret evils of the CIv2 engine though ....

Have checked your events and cannot see what could be preventing them working,
except that the civs listed to receive tech or be affected might be different
from those that are in the scenario properties?

Just a long shot, but make sure everything matches up.

Also the 'JUSTONCE' entry should always come after the 'receiver' entry.

Also, I have to say there is so much great work put into this
scenario!

When we get the problems ironed out, this will be a classic.

I will keep looking at the files to see if anything leaps out at me...

JP has put his finger on it. There is no scn. file. Events are only loaded when the scenario starts. When you save the scenario, the events are stored in the sav. file. So when you load a saved game, anything in the events txt. file are completely ignored.
